Salvation is NOT the Reward of the Saved!

.
Salvation is not the Reward of the Saved!!! Salvation is not conditional or a contest for humans. Universal Salvation is NOT true. Calvanism which says some are "elected" to be saved and others "elected" to be condemned is NOT true. Armenianism which says that those once saved can recant and become "unsaved" is not true. If Salvation is the Reward of the Saved, then "something" would have to be done to "win" the Reward. Salvation is an announcement that we ARE saved in Jesus.

God's ORIGINAL purpose was to create man and have man in God's life forever. This plan was accomplished in Jesus Christ. It ALL depended and depends on Jesus Christ, not humans. The ONLY thing any human can do is to believe it. It is True whether or not one believes it or not. We don't make it true. IT IS TRUE. The ONLY thing we CAN do is to believe it and thereby EXPERIENCE it now and forever.

Salvation and our participation in the life of God is an ANNOUNCEMENT. It is not conditional or a contest to see if one will make it. All humanity HAS made it already in Jesus Christ. The only question remaining for anyone is, " Will the individual BELIEVE it?" And, that is the ONLY requirement Jesus placed on Humans--Belief in Him.

Great, forthright, unapologetic announcement of the truth! And really, something to get EXCITED about! So much of Christianity is mired in so many negative, energy-wasting detours! Praise You, Lord, for Your magnificent love and strength - for us! We surrender to You in rest!

“THIS IS THE WILL OF HIM WHO SENT ME”—JESUS

John 3:35 "The Father loves the Son
and has given ALL things into his hand."

What has the Father given to the Son? ALL things!!!

Now, look at what the will of the Father is:

John 6:39 "And this is the will of him who sent me,
that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day."

So, WHAT is the WILL of the FATHER concerning Jesus???
LOSE NOTHING of what HE had given him, which was ALL!!!

So, Jesus' commission is to lose nothing
of all that the Father has given him, and the Father gave him ALL, therefore NONE will be lost!!! That means
(drum roll please!!!)~~~~~~(that was a drum roll—really!)
(if you can’t get excited about this with me, your pulse is zero)

ALL WILL BE SAVED!!!

This means no eternal torment and no eternal death!!! Remember, the Word says death will be eliminated, and guess what that means; it means that after that, there will only be LIFE!!!

This means salvation of ALL!!! (yeah, I know it’s repetitious, but that is what you want to do with really good news)

Some of you may be thinking, well what about
THIS verse, or THAT verse, or this OTHER verse???

What I have shared with you is undeniable, straight-forward, easy-to-understand TRUTH, so, THIS, THAT, or the OTHER verses need to be understood in terms of this TRUTH.

Since what God through his Holy Spirit through his servant John has said is obviously true, then the Holy Spirit must not have yet revealed to you the true meaning of all those hell, fire, and damnation verses. Hell, fire, and damnation are actually all part of God’s plan to reconcile all created beings back to Him.

Don't explain it away, just believe it!!!

Believing IN God, puts you in no better position than the demons. But where the rubber meets the road is
DO YOU BELIEVE GOD WHEN HE STATES HIS TRUTH SO PLAINLY!!!

If you do not believe that these two verses in John are saying that none will be lost, consider this possibility.

Satan has made you believe that “all” does not really mean “all”, which is a common deception.

Or, Satan is just not allowing you to believe this truth.

YOU HAVE TWO CHOICES:

BELIEVE GOD OR BELIEVE SATAN!!!

Don, I understand your excitement and the truth of the verses you quote. Let me say it this way as I understand it.
Jesus came to seek and to save what was lost--and He did just that.
All creation is redeemed and reconciled in Jesus. Universal Reconciliation is a fact.

I can not see why anyone would not believe this truth to experience it.

But, scripture indicates that there will/may be some few who will not embrace this truth in Jesus and stay "isolated" forever--or until such time as they are persuaded by the Father to believe the truth of Who they are in Jesus and come into the "party of Heaven".

Thank you for your comment.

Pastor Paul,

Thank you for not condemning me for being a heretic. Those Calvinists really give me "hell" when I express my universal salvation beliefs on their websites.

Here are some reasons that I believe that all will come to belief. This is an article that I recently processed.

ALL CREATED BEINGS WILL PRAISE GOD AT SOME TIME AND THUS COME TO BELIEVE IN HIM

The following are 5 witnesses (scriptures) from 4 of God’s servants: DAVID, ISAIAH, PAUL, and JOHN.

NOTE: Nowhere in the Word do we have any evidence that one must come to belief in this lifetime, which is another myth of man; contrariwise, we have much evidence in the following verses and many others that some will only come to belief after their physical death. At this point some might think of the Rich Man and Lazarus parable. Parables must be discerned spiritually as they are not to be taken literally since they are fictional stories to convey a spiritual message. Consider this, Rich Man = Jews and Lazarus = Gentiles and the spiritual message is that the Jews will be disciplined for their attitude toward and treatment of the Gentiles.

THE MASTER PLAN OF THE MASTER COULD BE SUMMED UP IN A COMPREHENSIVE SUMMARY OF HIS WORD AS FOLLOWS AS ATTESTED BY MANY WITNESSES.

“ALL IS OUT OF ME AND ALL WILL COME BACK TO ME.” --- GOD

Rom 11:36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
1Co 15:28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

GOD WILL BE ALL IN ALL =
GOD WILL BE EVERYTHING TO EVERYONE

OUR SPIRIT CAME OUT OF GOD AND WILL RETURN TO GOD

DAVID was inspired to write:

Psalms 22:27-28 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations

ISAIAH was inspired to write:

Isa 45:23 By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: 'To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.'
Isa 45:24 "Only in the LORD, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed all who were incensed against him.

PAUL was inspired to write:

Phi 2:10 so that at the name of Jesus
every knee will bow
— in heaven and on earth and under the earth —
Phi 2:11 and every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord
to the glory of God the Father.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God."

JOHN was inspired to record:

Rev 5:13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"

SINCE AFTER A CERTAIN TIME DEATH WILL CEASE TO BE, LEAVING ONLY LIFE AND HENCE NO MORE SEPARATION BETWEEN GOD AND MAN, ALL OF THESE WITNESSES CAN TESTIFY TO THE SAME THING:

EVERY CREATED BEING WILL PRAISE AND GLORIFY GOD!!!

HI again Don,

Great Theologians such as Karl Barth, Tom Torrance, Baxter Kruger, and others have been very familiar with the scriptures you quote on Universal Salvation. And at first glance they DO seem to make a perfect case for the argument.

The point is that if one is to EXPERIENCE the blessings of the abundant life in Jesus now and then forever, one MUST BELIEVE that it is true and applies for them, otherwise by NOT believing there is no way they can enter into the experience since they will not come in to the reality for them and this is by their choice. IT is true for them but they will not enjoy the relationship since they will not believe it to be true for them.

IF all of these same individuals come to belief somethime in the future in the afterlife then Universal Salvation would become a fact.

However, scripture allows for the possibility for these individuals to continue in their non acceptance and unbelief and therefore remain ALIENATED from God. ( Note NOT separated, but alienated. Man can not ever be SEPARATED from God.)

So, the possibility for Universal Salvation remains open, but we will just have to wait and see if it comes to fruition. Jesus did die for everyone and adopted and included everyone into His life. But, belief is paramount in order to experience it.

I appreciate your generous understanding of scripture and your love of the Lord.

Your brother,
Paul
