WHO INVENTED THE HELL FIRE TEACHING???

HELL. Always a 'hot' subject. Where did you learn your concept of hell from? What IS your concept of hell? Where did the concept of hell come from originally? We know it is prior to biblical times. It is common in all of ancient history of earliest civilizations and religions. Was it God inspired? Let's think for a moment.

When Adam sinned and assumed a darkened mind with a fallen nature all of his descendents assumed that same darkness. With Satan now being the 'god of this world' and with his influence man was ready to conjure up any explanation of the after life that 'seemed' right to him. Reward for being 'good' and punishment for being bad seemed only right to fallen man's thinking.

From the earliest recognized religion in the world, Zorasterianism to the Egyptians and the Greeks, a retributive , punishing, tormenting, suffering and torturing afterlife for evil was conjured. This Satan inspired teaching served only to discredit God and His unlimited love for His children.

For thousands of years man suffered under this illusion with fear of death hanging over his head. Unfortunately this 'hell' concept came into the Christian church in the 5th century A.D. through an early church leader named Augustine of Hippo. And it has stayed in its damnable teaching in the Christian church ever since. In its teaching is is almost point for point exactly the same as the teachings of Zorasterianism, Egyhptian afterlife, Greek after life, Catholic afterlife suffering and many Protestant teachings on the aferlife as well. It may be noteworthy to know that this 'Fire' teaching of punishment was NOT preached or taught in the early N.T. church of almost 500 years.

I believe in hell, make no mistake. But the hell one experiences is self imposed through living in darkness with a fallen nature and a darkened mind excercising what the Bible calls 'eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.' Or, living out of ones own mind and thinking. Or, not believing who ACTUALLY we are IN Jesus Christ. Even after death of our physical life, one can continue to resist believing who he or she is IN Jesus. This suffering or 'perishing' can last hyhpothetically FOREVER. One could keep himself or herself out of the party of
heaven through this unbelief. Revelation chapter 22 shows that the invitation to accept and believe and take of the river of life ( Jesus ) continues on for all to believe. But until one does, he or she continues to live in Hell. Not separated from God. Always loved by the Father. Always adopted and included and wanted by the Father in His life forever.

Until we can completely get RID of our preconceived ideas of a fiery hell and torture we can never see the real Love of God for all of humanity. Nor can we experience the real love relationship between God and ourself. Father help us to see.

I can almost hear the arguments now. But, What about Lazarus and the Rich man? And worms that die not. And any number of other scriptures which SEEM to contradict what has been said here. OK, what about them. Maybe you need to do more study into actually what is being said and taught in those examples. It is an interesting study to say the least. DECEMBER 21, 2012--WHAT IT DOES "NOT" MEAN

I have written on the matter of December 21,2012 before. The alignment of the stars and galactic bodies in the Milky way Galaxy. Also, the Mayan calendar and the writings of Nostradamus and the Hopi Indians. In this blog I just want to put a few things in perspective.

All of these speculative prognostications along with Bible Codes and the reading of tea leaves are just that. Interesting at best. We need to understand some things about the Universe or Cosmos. The Creation.

The great Creator God, Jesus Christ, created all things. ( Col.1:16). All things were created by Him and for Him. Again in Heb.1:3, we see that all things are upheld or sustained by the word of His Power. This is Jesus Christ's universe. It belongs to Him. He upholds it. He sustains it. He is its source of continued existence.

To man's human mind the contrivance of humanity's ultimate demise is natural to speculate. It just seems to man and his interpretation of any writings that doomsday events somehow MUST come to be. There are so many natural geological occurrences going on around the earth along with the depravity and evilness of man that the ultimate conclusion for man's mind is extinction. And man has been predicting the "end" since time immemorial. To date ALL of mans doomsday predictions including the return of Jesus Christ have all been wrong. And they WILL continue to be.

There are many 'coincidences' in many writings and beliefs extant in the world over future events. Dec.21, 2012 is one more of them.

What happens on Dec.21, 2012, "TRILLIONS" of miles from the earth regardless of What lines up with whatever will NOT have any bearing on the geological forces extant on this earth. NONE. NADA. NOTHING.

Jesus Christ is in charge of this earth. He is in charge of His plan for man. He is the creator and sustainer of the creation and the supreme creation of earth and man. He will take care of his children and one day return to this earth in Glory and Power and LOVE. And yes, one day He will create a New Heavens and a New Earth. But it will not be done by caprice and galactic alignment. It will be done by His perfect design.

I believe I will trust in Jesus Christ to do His good will and good pleasure for all of the creation including all of humanity who He loves.

WHAT THE HELL IS HELL ANWAY?

OK. I won't tell you things in this blog, I will just ask you questions and tell you where you can get the answers the same as I.

I want to talk about HELL. Damn skippy. Where do you think the modern Western Theological concept of an everlasting , torturing , burning, punishing , retributive hell comes from? Have you ever looked into the subject, or have you just assumed that what you have been taught or thought was CORRECT? Well, let's see.

The worlds religions going back to the first, Zoroastrianism, had a concept of reward and punishment. Heaven for your good out weighing your bad and torture for your evil outweighing your good. On to the Egyptians. They had the concept of a torture of the underworld for evil and reward for good. Then the Greeks, who had a concept of reward for good and the 'netherworld' for evil people. Plato in the 4th century B.C. gave this a name and it was HELL after a Greek goddess named hel.

Now here is where I depart from explaining all of this to you all, I just want you to GOOGLE SEARCH , Plato's Hell, Egyptian Hell, and Greek Hell. Then I want you to Google search , Catholic Hell. WOW. Do you see a connection. How did all of this Hell get into the Church of Jesus Christ?

Now Google search St. Augustine and Hell and see what he did to invest this concept into the early Catholic Church. Are you getting the picture here.

IS GOD IN ALL HUMANS?

Is God in all humans? Does one have to accept Christ into his/her life in order to have Jesus come into his/her life? Is God living His life in us 'conditional' until we do something? Is there a quotient of belief and acceptance we have to come to in order for God to then come into us and live in us? Have we had the cart before the horse theologically?

Paul says to the pagans at Athens in Acts 17:28-31, that "we live and move and have our being in God and that God has has given ASSURANCE to ALL men".

Jesus had already said in John 14:20 that "He was in the Father, the Father was in Him and that He (Jesus) was in you/us/all." And that one day we would realize it.

When Paul writes in Colossians and Ephesians that Christ is in all he is again emphasising what Christ had already said in John 14:20 and John 17:20-26. Paul says it this way in Colossians 3:11, "....but Christ is all and IN ALL." Note Paul did not say Christ was in "you" or "you all" speaking to or referencing those at Colosse
only, he said " Christ is all and IN ALL".

In Ephesians 4:6, Paul again says it this way, " One God and Father of ALL, who is above ALL and through ALL and in you ALL."

I realize that there are those who will disagree with this but that is ok. It won't change the truth that ALL are the children of God the Father and that the Holy Spirit has been poured out in greater measure and degree on ALL flesh (Acts 2) and that Jesus lives in everyone on the planet. The caveat is that when one does not know this they do not ACT like it. When they come to a change of mind ( metanoia,Gk) of who they are in Jesus then they will begin to change and ACT like who they really are and Experience the abundant life Jesus brought to us all. (John 10:10)

GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD--gods did not!

The concept of "HELL" can be found in the ancient religions of Egypt, Greece, and in most all religions of the world going back to the first world religion, Zoroastrianism. Eternal rewards for good and eternal punishments of the most horrible description can be found in studying 'Egyptian hell' and other's concept of the torture of damnation. ( See Internet articles on 'Egyptian Hell' and 'Greek Hell').

Note: None of the ancient gods existence was base on love. All were perceived as wanting to be worshipped and aggrandized. If one were not found bowing down to or extolling one of these gods that person would be on their way to a torturous afterlife of suffering. It was all about the god. There was no love lost on the human subjects of the particular god. There was no love relationship between the god and humans. There was no blessing on the people by the god. So the point....

John 3:16-17, John shows a very different kind of God that the true God really is. He says, " For God so LOVED THE WORLD that He GAVE His ONLY begotten Son...." This great God never intended for anyone to "perish" or continue to suffer, but that through belief in this loving God one would continue in relationship with Him forever.
The true God never says things like, " Worship me" or "Extol me" or "Build me up continually". He just loves us and wants us to love Him back and believe that all of our future is secured in Jesus for the blessing of all of us including every blessing of the heavenly realm. ( Ephesians 1:3-14).

Jesus did not adopt the pagan concept of a punishing, torturing and suffering Hell Fire for those who would not lift Him up or measure up with good deeds in order to escape eternal punishment. Jesus said He came to seek and to save what was lost and He did. ( Luke 19:10). The same Jesus says in John 14:20, that He is in the Father, the Father is in Him and He, Jesus, is IN US!!! We are asked to believe it. That is all.

The creation of God of the Cosmos and humanity was born out of pure love and a desire on the part of the Great Triune God to share that love with His creation of which man was supreme.

The Devil's religions do not change. The Good News in most churches is NOT Good News at all. It is rewards and punishment. Rules and regulations. It is RELIGION. And it is BAD NEWS!

The GOOD NEWS is , "God so loved the world" and secured and saved the creation through the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus. And Jesus said," It is FINISHED". John 19:30. And you are INCLUDED.

"IT IS FINISHED!" OR WAS IT?

Jesus, with his dying breath on the cross, exclaims, "It is finished!" What he and the Father and Holy Spirit had determined since before the foundation of the world was completed. Jesus did NOT say, "I am finished", as if there were other things left for man to do in order to effectuate the plan of salvation for mankind. In other words , "I did my part, now you humans do yours".

The Father sent Jesus to do a WORK. That work is found in Luke 19:10, Jesus said, "I came to seek and to save WHAT was lost." What was lost was the entire cosmos and humanity through sin. Did Jesus accomplish what the Father sent him to do? In John 4:34, Jesus said his "food" was to do the Father's will and to FINISH the work he was given to do. In John 17:4, Jesus said he had brought the Father Glory by finishing or completing the work the Father had given him to do.

As we look back on a couple of scriptures we see the impact of Jesus' work on this earth in the REMOVAL of Sin for the benefit of all mankind. In John 1:29, John proclaims this when he sees Jesus coming into the midst of the crowd, " Behold, the Lamb of God who takes AWAY the sin of the world!" Again in I John 2:12, John writes that our sins have been forgiven--even before we were BORN. Paul says the same thing in Ephesians 1:7, "...we have been forgiven." Notice the past tense of these writings.

What makes the New Covenant in the blood of Christ so tremendous is that it is a GIFT of God, from God to all of us-You included. It is a PROCLAMATION of God's love for us and what he has ALREADY done in Jesus for all of us.

There is NO remaining part of "finishing" anything to make our salvation secure in Jesus. We are not "Co-Saviours" with Christ by having to DO ANYTHING. Except-----Believe. Believe WHO we now are IN Jesus. We are the loved and ADOPTED children of God made true by Jesus Christ.

Notice Ephesians 1:3-14. This passage declares this eternal truth to all of us as being true from BEFORE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD. The Father simply loves us and wants us to live with him and IN the Trinity forever. He made it so in Jesus.

Can we believe this? Maybe, maybe not. It sounds too good to be true, but it still is true. Scripture attests to this fact. Believe it. "IT IS FINISHED."

LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS

Life on other planets in other Solar Systems and Galaxies??? Maybe, Maybe not.
While no one can be totally demonstrative on this subject, we can make a few observations with some degree of intelligence.

Hebrews expressly tell us that Jesus is the complete atonement for ALL sin. He has reconciled the entire cosmos back to God. He is the complete Atonement for EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. With this in mind let's discuss life on other planets.

It is possible that God created life , just like life we have here on this earth, on other planets in other galaxies in other solar systems. Possible.

( Aliens from outer Space is a totally different subject.)

IF, and this is a big if, God created life as we know it on this earth on other planets, I believe He did so AFTER Adam and Eve's creation on this earth.

After the "fall". After the "original" sin.. After the atonement. After the salvation of the entire cosmos.

If this is so, then these people would have no need for 'another' atonement since Jesus' life, death, resurrection and asension covered ALL things. Those people too.

They could be living out what God intended for Adam and Eve to accept originally.

The Tree of life. Life. Eternal life.

Again, if this is possibly true, then I believe it would have occurred AFTER Adams's sin and After Jesus life , death, and resurrection and ascension to the Father.

So, there are many philosophyical and Theological implications to this question and I do NOT pretend to know the answer.

DO YOU ACCEPT "FALSE" TEACHINGS?

This CAN'T be right! This probably will be many, if not most's reaction to this blog." I never heard it this way and I don't believe it!" Rather than ask you to just believe me here, I do ask that you do your OWN research into this subject as there is much information concerning this topic. More info at the end of this blog.

Churches which have come from the Roman Catholic Church, and the Catholic Church as well, have adopted and preached a wrong concept of salvation along with a false and pagan Platonic concept of HELL which originated with the Greek philosopher Plato in the 400's B.C. ( Just Google search for yourself, " PLATO'S HELL.") This false doctrine was incorporated into the Catholic Church by St. Augustine of Hippo in the
5th Century A.D. Augustine was an avid reader of Plato and saw that by putting this philosophy of eternal torture and punishment into church doctrine it would keep members "in line" and paying their money and through FEAR obedient to the teachings of the church.

Many churches today do NOT teach such torture in any "hell fire", but for the lost SEPARATION from God. But this is ALSO a false teaching as well. Humans can no more be separated from God than they can be separated from their own shadow.

So what is hell then? To make a long story short, hell is simply living one's life making one's own decisions based upon one's own thinking coming from a darkened mind with a fallen sinful nature which we all have inherited from the first Adam. This
"eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" leads only to a life of sin, strife, misery, suffering, angst, unhappiness, war, divorce, addictions and every other evil existence man experiences described in scripture as...HELL. AND, this suffering can last FOREVER if one never comes to see WHO he or she is IN Jesus Christ. Even at the 'Final Judgement' before the Throne of God one can STILL refuse to accept and believe that God LOVES them and that they have forgiveness and salvation and eternal life GIVEN to them IN Jesus Christ. They can Continue in HEll.

The Good News is that The Father does not give up!!! Just like the father in the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15, the Father continues to seek for the older son to come into the party.

The GOOD NEWS is simply this: Salvation has been given to EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER LIVED. Universal redemption and reconciliation has been extended to ALL. ( I Cor.15:22). All died in Adam and the same ALL have been made alive in Jesus, the Second Adam.) We do not try to 'get someone saved', they ALREADY ARE SAVED IN JESUS. Sharing the GOSPEL then is INFORMING someone that they ARE saved and loved and adopted and included in the life of the Triune God all made to happen to them by the life, death, resurreciton and ascension of Jesus Christ. Then it is up to them with the help of the Holy Spirit to accept it and believe it and then EXPERIENCE IT.
Sadly, scripture allows for some to not accept it and believe it even forever. They would then simply exist OUTSIDE the party not enjoying the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and not experiencing the 'pleasures at the right hand of God.' ( See Psalms 16:11).

It may take another Millennium for a deceived Christian world to come to see these truths. Until then all may know that they are loved by God and that their eternal life is secure in Jesus Christ.

YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE !!!

When The Triune God decided to make mankind, see Genesis 1:26-27, He determined that He would have man live inside of His life forever. He wanted humans inside of His Triune life upon whom He would lavish His love. Ephesians Chapter one is about how God chose humanity IN Jesus to be Adopted and Included in His life forever. You and I were included in that decision at that time. You had NO CHOICE. All humans were included and none had a choice either. God simply did this for His good pleasure and in His will.

When Adam and Eve sinned by taking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which brought misery, suffering and DEATH on them and their human family--see I Cor.15:22, now not only did Jesus have to come to create UNION between the human family and the Triune God, He had to now come to provide ATONEMENT, forgiveness and sacrifice for the sins of the whole world and all humans, AND, even the entire Cosmos was redeemed and reconciled in the blood of Jesus. ( See Colosians 1:19-20).
The entire Cosmos and humanity had become lost through sin. Jesus came to seek and to save what was lost and He did. ( Luke 19:10). And, yes mankind was lost and dead in the first Adam, but in Jesus Christ the same mankind was made ALIVE! (I Cor.15.22)

We simply did not have a vote. We had no choice in the matter. God loved us all to much to allow us to have a choice. Salvation is His idea, not ours. It is because of His great love for us His children that He devised this plan in the first place.

So, we ALL are bought by God with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus saved all of humanity 2000 years ago and in His resurrection and ascension took all of us to the right hand of the Father in Heaven. ( See Ephesians 2:6). Again, you nor I had a choice in the matter. The blessings and joy in this eternal relationship with the Triune God will be beyond our wildest dreams. We will inherit ALL things including the entire Cosmos/Universe.(Hebrews 2:5-8). Life will never end. The abundant life Jesus brought will continue on forever. God is Good. So Good in fact we can not fathom His Goodness.

There is one caveat to all of this. You nor I had a choice in this matter, but in order for us to experience this inheritance we MUST BELIEVE who we are IN Jesus and what He has done TO, FOR, IN and THROUGH all of humanity. If we refuse to believe it thus denying our position in the Father's plan there is no way we can experience "Heaven" and only then a 'hellish' existence of being outside the party in Heaven will be one's lot.

Again, you have no choice as to whether or not this is so, it is so! But you do have the option of believing it or not. I pray you will BELIEVE.

CAN'T OVERCOME SIN, IT'S O.K.

To start this blog post, please read my last one to set this one up. We still often see things in our life from a past paradigm of Western Theological philosophy in a rewards and punishment perspective. One which we in Western Christianity have inhereited from Plato and St. Augustine of Hippo. With this warning in mind let's proceed to this present blog post.

In our humanity we all live in the fallenness we received from the first Adam and with a darkened mind also received from him. Just because we acknowledge who we are in Jesus Christ and believe what He says applies to us does not mean that we all check our humanness, weaknesses, lusts, carnality, vanity, greed, jealousies and all other fleshly human foibles at the door of the Church of Jesus Christ. We all too often walk in and after the flesh and not as often do we walk in and after the Spirit. And what I am telling all of us is this. " THIS IS O.K. "

Jesus did not come to stop humans from sinning. He came to FORGIVE SIN and become sin, all sin for all of us His children. Paul says it this way in Romans 5:18, "...the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life ( eternal life) for ALL men " Jesus simply makes us righteous by His declaration as an act of God made possible by His perfect life.

Jesus is not going to let our sins slip under the door and miss some of them and thereby we find sins in our life that go unforgiven. Silly I know, Jesus "has our back" as the terminology of the day goes.

Paul speaks to this dual life we lead, one in the flesh and the other in the Spirit , in Romans 7. Paul illustrates that we as humans will always have the two sides of our life warring against each other. But , in Jesus, we have the victory in that war because He says SO! Then Paul says in Romans 8:1, "...there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." All actually are, they all just do not know it yet. And they will.

( Again, if you have not read my last blog post, please take the time to do so now.)

Jesus even said himself in John 5:24, that we have passed from death into life through faith and belief in Him. In Matt.11:28, Jesus speaks to all of us trying to become perfect in the flesh by doing this that or the other thing or NOT doing this that or the other thing. He simply says REST. Come to Him and Rest. I will give you rest, He says.

To illustrate the continuing corruption we all are in the flesh, Paul says it this way in ICor.15:53 (OKJ), " This corruptible must put on incorruption." What Paul is saying that even until the day we die or are resurrected we are still sinners and we are still corruption or corruptible. We NEVER attain perfection of the flesh in this life. We can improve but only in Jesus Can we be PERFECT. And we ARE!!!

We all too often go around beating ourselves up over weaknesses and sins or lusts which we may NEVER humanly conquer in this physical life. Alcoholism. Drug addiction. Pornography addiction. Sex addiction. Tobacco addiction. You name it and someone has it. But we all have victory in Jesus Christ who Gives us the Victory. ICor.15:57. We simply win because declares us winners.

I love the verse in Romans 14:22 which says, " blessed is the man who does not condemn himself in what he approves." Jesus says to quit judging each other and rest. Rejoice. Celebrate what He has done to us and for us. He loves us unconditionally which I have been describing here.

We are ALL weak sinners. We all live in a body of sin and death. We all have a darkened mind. We all live in the fallenness of the first Adam. And it is while we are YET sinners Christ died for us the ungodly. Thank you Jesus. Eternity with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit awaits all of us who believe.

SIN IS OVER- YOU ARE FOREVER FORGIVEN AND CLEAN

Luke 7:40-50, speaks of those who are forgiven much ( us ) who love much and those who are forgiven little, loving little.

Romans 5:20 speaks of Grace always outrunning our sin. "You can't outsin Grace," as I put it.

Romans 5:1-7, speaks of while we all are yet and still sinners, Christ died for us.

I John 1:7, speaks that the blood of Christ cleanses/purifies us of all sin.

Even when John first laid eyes on Jesus, his comment was, "Behold the lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world." Foolish John, he actually thought that Jesus took away the sin of the world. Either he did or He did not.

In Heb.9:26, we see that Jesus did away with the sin of the world.

And, In I John 3;5, we see that in Jesus, Us being in Jesus, there is NO Sin.

Jesus became sin for us. See IICor.5:19-20. Why? So that we can be called the Righeousness of God.

Where do you stand on the sin question in your life? Are you feeling shame? Do you feel guilt? Do you "want to do better"? Why?

Did Jesus pay it all or did he not?

Let's just cut to the chase:

We are unconditionally loved by the Father.
Jesus' blood forgave us of all sin, past, present, and future.

God has forgotten all of our sin.

If He does, why do we still remember it?

We stand ever present in God's eyes , loved, forgiven, clean, righteous, holy, without spot or blemish, and INSIDE of God's life forever by Jesus declaration.

Can it get any better than that?

What does God think when we sin? Answer: NOTHING. Why? because He has forgotten it. It is covered, forgiven in the Blood of Christ.

We are great sinners. Always in the falleness of Adam. But in Jesus Christ, we are the recipients of Great forgiveness and adoption.

Jesus simply undid or overturned what Adam did and Jesus makes it all right before God the Father. You are in there someplace.

Whatever question you may have, Jesus is the Answer, as Billy Graham says. He is your answer, He is your life. He is your future. He is your everything.

Sin has been dealt with 2000 years ago. Rejoice when you sin. Thank Jesus that He took it on Himself 2000 years ago and you forever stand clean and forgiven and righteous in His eyes.

DID HE OR DIDN'T HE?

Modern religionists want to make the Gospel SO conditional that it is beyond the reach of most human beings. Statements like, "you CAN be saved," or "you CAN be forgiven" permeate the doctrinal landscape of many professing Christians.

Verses such as " God so loved the world", become God so loved 'most' or 'some' of the world with that love being limited to only those who would somehow 'qualify' for that love.

Or, I Cor. 15:22, "As in Adam ALL die, in Christ ALL are / will be made alive." This is read as , " If one does the appropriate applications then one CAN be made alive in Christ." My point is that either we are made alive in Christ or we are not. No if, ands, or buts.

In Ephesians 1, either we ALL were chosen in Jesus Christ BEFORE the foundation of the world to be blameless IN HIS SIGHT ( By His declaration as an act of God) or we were not. Which is it? What hoops and ladders do we have to jump through or climb to attain this blamelessness? What do we have to do to be a part of His pleasure and will? Can we just be allowed to play God for a little while so we can make all of God's plan work out so He will LIKE it? Either we ALL were chosen before the foundation of the world or we were not.

God's plan and the Salvation of the Cosmos and humanity is not Conditional. It is not a potentiality or possibility. The Good News is not contractural. It is not based on us or anything humanity can do. The Good News is simply an ANNOUNCEMENT OR PROCLOMATION of what God HAS DONE ALREADY for all of humanity IN Jesus Christ.

The Good News is that you--ALL of you- have been given a part in it by our Great Triune God and loving Saviour, Jesus Christ. Did He or Didn't He?

FAITH OF CHRIST OR FAITH IN CHRIST? WHICH?

Some have never even thought of this question which is of vital importance and relevance to all humans on earth. That question is, " is one saved by the FAITH OF CHRIST, or is one saved by FAITH IN Christ?" At first this may seem like a non sequitur, but in fact it IS the WHOLE Gospel in truth.

Karl Barth, the great Swiss/German Theologian said that the Gospel turns on prepisitions. How true.

We hear often, " Do you have faith? Do you have faith in Christ? Like that is something great and is going to do all there is in this great Cosmos to save a person. Don't get me wrong , faith in Christ is GOOD. To believe in Jesus Christ is VERY GOOD. Well, how much faith IN Christ is required for salvation? Is it a little, more, or much? Well, how much? Any room for error?

I posit that it is impossible for a human to have faith enough to secure salvation. At best humans can GUESS, OR POSTULATE, OR HOPE, OR ANY NUMBER OT OTHER THINGS BUT faith, I don't think so. At our best , our faith is only partial, limited, and small.

Will that do the work of God? Will that human , small, limited faith conclude the plan of God on this earth? You had better hope not.

There is a better understanding. It simply is this. EVERYTHING DEPENDS AND IS PREDICATED UPON THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST.

He is OUR Faith. He has perfect Faith and He gives it to us whether we know it or not.

He is our life. Col.3:4. And if that is so, then He is our FAITH as Well!!!!

We live and exist by the FAITH of the Son of God who lived and died for us and in our place. Gal.2:20.

IN our limited human understanding we can at least have some faith that Jesus' Faith is all we need. And that is enough.

CONDEMNATION / DAMNATION...NOT THE SAME!!!

Woah... one thing we need to understand here is that Condemnation and Damnation are NOT the same thing. You argumentative religious hobbyists can go home now!

We read in John 5:29 that those who have 'not done good' come forth to the resurrection of damnation. KJV. Now Wait just a minute. We know that we are all saved in Jesus Christ. By Grace. Not based upon any thing we have done, good or evil. We know that we all... humans.. were chosen by Christ, and in Christ before the foundation or creation of the world. We know that God so loved the world. Jn.3:16.

We know that all of Adam's family are under the curse of death and condemnation by Adam's sin and fall. We simply inherit that penalty. But... we know that in Jesus that death penalty has been overturned and we are accepted into Jesus' life and receive real LIFE IN JESUS. We are transformed from dead to living in Jesus. I cor. 15:22. We know that this applies to ALL living humans who have ever lived. Eph.1:3-14.

We know also that none of us are any longer under any condemnation in Jesus as Romans 8:1 tells us. So we see all are saved and reconciled in Jesus, we are no longer under any condemnation and have passed from death to life, John 5:24, and are alive in Jesus. So what is this damnation all about?

Simply, if one refuses to accept who he or she is in Jesus and what all He has done for them, then by that refusal they simply will continue to live in a state of damnation or self sufficiency and misery and suffering and perishing and weeping and gnashing of teeth for as long as it takes for them to "see the light" and accept who they are in Jesus and come into the party of heaven.

There is NO condemnation in Jesus. The whole world is under condemnation or death due to Adam's sin and fall--I Cor.11:32--but Jesus has released all of humanity from under that death condemnation through belief in Him and Who we all are in Jesus. There is damnation of self choice by those refusing to accept and believe who they are in Jesus, and that denial and suffering can go on forever--and the Bible calls that HELL.

ASCENSION SUNDAY. WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?

Sunday was Ascension Sunday. One of the six great feast days of the Christian Church.
Why is it so important and what does it mean for all of us--all of humanity?
It was placed in the church in around the 300's A.D. before the Catholic Church was ever recognised. It was placed to declare the BODILY ASCENSION of Jesus Christ into Heaven. Jesus remains forever human in His eternal existence in His humanity.

In Acts 1:10-11, the angel said, " this SAME Jesus who you see ascending into heavens will come again ." The Feast of Ascension or Ascension Sundany, ( May 16th this year,) declares the bodily resurrection and ascension of Jesus into Heaven.

This is important for all of us--humanity--for it is in the ascension of Jesus that He takes all of us in His ascension and places all of us at the Father's right hand along with himself. ( Ephesians 2:6).

Not only this, but since Jesus is still human in his existence, we will also be human in our eternal existence with a "spiritual body" of flesh and bone which appears 'physical" and without physical limitations. Not subject to decay or death. See I Cor. 15.

In a sense, the Ascension of Jesus validates the entire Gospel which concludes with all of mankind residing at the right hand of the Father with Jesus, a position of highest love and respect the same as the Father has for Jesus himself.

In our state of Union with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit IN Jesus we will have, as Paul describes in I Cor. 15, our own 'spriitual body' which will appear 'physical' and without physical imitations. We will be able to do all of the things we do now but only better with a 'glorified' body made of spirit but appearing physical.

Ascension Sunday and the ascension of Jesus to the right hand of the Father and taking all of us with Him is vital to our understanding of the Gospel.

A few verses to further study for all of us;

I Cor. 15:47-49. The man Jesus remains a human man from heaven.
I Tim. 2:5, Jesus, the MAN, remains the mediator between heaven and man
Acts 1:10-11 The same Jesus which ascended in Acts 1 will return in the same
bodily form as always--one which He will have forever.
Ephesians 1:3-14 All of humanity has been included in this eternal future in Christ

MAN'S DESTINY IS IN GOD'S HANDS--AND THAT IS GOOD!

Man's destiny is God's destiny for man. God's plan for the destiny of man is a done deal finalized in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. There is a little mostly obscure verse back in Isiah 46:10 most would read VERY incorrectly. It reads, " I declare the end from the beginning." Most would read this as , since God knows everything He just knows the end of things as He can see that end and knows in advance how it will all play out. BUT, this is NOT what the verse says. It says, " He DECLARES the end from the beginning. This means that He is completely in charge. His will is involved in the outcome of the future. He is in charge of our life and declares the end for all of His creation. And that end is Good. It is Good News for everyone. He brings it all about as He wishes for His good pleasure.

With this said let's look at a few scriptures which reveal what that "end" for humanity is. Gen.1:26-27, God said let us make man in our image. Relational. Loving. Then in Ephesians 1:3-14, God shows that He adopted man into His life from before the foundation of the world by His Grace. II Tim.1:9. Then through Jesus Christ He seated man at His right hand with Jesus. All of mankind. Then he declares in Hebrews 2:5-8, that ALL things will be put under mans feet and in subjection to man ultimately. All here is the GK. word , "panta", which means the entire Cosmos, the universe, all things.

So the Destiny of man is to be with God, in God, experiencing real life with God for all of eternity. A loving relational relationship of pure joy, peace, harmony, pleasure, and happiness forever.

There is one small ( or large) caveat which man must deal with. And that is , man must believe it in order to experience it.

PROSTITUTES AND PURITANS. WHO IS ACCEPTED?

I feel like creating an earthquake today with this blog. So here goes. WE can talk God's love and Grace all we want to but until we are confronted with some really, and I mean serious propositions concerning that love and grace our doubts are elevated to controversial proportions.

Do we,you, all of believe that the blood of Jesus Christ covers ALL sin? Do we believe that in Jesus ALL of humanity, that includes you and your worst enemy and worst sinner, were adopted and included in the life of God from before the world began?

Do you grade sins as certain ones as easily forgivable, others and a little hareder to forgive, and yet others really hard to forgive and still others as basically UNFORGIVEABLE?

Do you really want to play God? Have you been creating God in your own image, or have you created God in your own image complete with judgemantalism, respect of persons, and a brand of your own righteousness?

Hypothetical situation for you to evaluate. Two sisters. One is a prostitute and loves her "work". The other is a Protestant Preacher who loves her work as well. Which of the two stands "more" accepted in the sight of God? Which one is more saved than the other? Which one pleases God the most? Why would either one need to please God in the first place? Which one is "more" righteous in God's eyes?

Of course we could use numerous examples of sinners and situations, but this one will suffice.

Do we belive that ALL sins were forgiven in Christ at the Cross? ( answers the above illustration right here). And, were not all humans declared "righteous in His sight from before the foundation of the world in Jesus?" (Eph. 1:3-14). Do we believe that in Jesus Christ ALL humans are declared RIGHTEOUS and are part of the Bride of Christ by His declaration? (Romans 3:21).

I think your get the point. All humans. Murders, rapists, child abusers, adulterers, lusters, gamblers, wife beaters, ANY and ALL sinners stand clean in the eyes of Jesus because He has made them so from the foundation of the world when He was slain. ( Rev. 13:8). Do you like this? Maybe not. But it is the love and Grace of God in action. This IS the Gospel. The Good News for everyone. We just need to share this Good News with others so that they will KNOW they belong to the Father and begin to live like it.

The two ladies I mentioned above both stand EQUAL before the Triune God. Both are loved, saved, redeemed, reconciled, justifed, and are seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. ( Eph. 2:6). Do they know it? Maybe not. They need to and that is sharing the Gospel with the both of them. Both are loved uncondidionally By the Father in Heaven and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Deal with it.

BELONGING TO THE TRIUNE GOD

Traditional Western Christianity would tell us that in order to belong to God one must accept Jesus and believe then behave "religiously" and then one would be able to be accepted by God and BELONG to Him. But, can you see how this violates everything God has done in Jesus for the completion of His plan for man? Let's see.

Triune God determined 'way back' to create man in His image. ( Gen.1:26-27). Also, to choose man/woman to be His children inside His existence and in His life BEFORE the foundation or Creation of the world. ( Eph.1:3-14 ). Then God blessed mankind with every heavenly blessing possible IN Jesus and declared man righteous and blameless in HIS sight at that time. ( Eph.1). Man has always belonged to the loving Father in Heaven. YOU have always belonged to the Father in Heaven. He has always loved you and wanted you to be with Him forever. Jesus simply ratified your belonging to the father by making payment for you to insure your belongingness to the Father.

Now do you see a problem with what I wrote in the first paragraph above? It isn't that we CAN belong to the Father IF we do this or that, accept Jesus or behave, the Truth is that we have ALWAYS BELONGED to the Father in heaven. The Gospel message is simply that , that you, we, all belong to the Father and Jesus has made the plan successful for everyone who ever lived. Done so by His life, death, resurrection and ascension to the Father carrying all of us humans with Him. ( Eph.2:6).

So, the correct order of the three "B's", if you will, is Belong, Believe, Behave.
YOU belong to God. Believe you belong to God. Behave like you belong to God. There is a vast difference in these two views. One is wrong and the other is right. See that?

The Good News , or the Gospel, is simply informing or educating individuals as to this truth. That they are loved by God, they belong to God, believe it, and behave like it. This is all a PROCLAMATION OF THE TRUTH. It is NOT a challenge or contest for humans to see IF they can make it happen. It has already happened in Jesus for the Father. It is an announcement. It is a proclamation. It is a done deal. And you are included in the wonderful plan of God from before the beginning of time. Now believe and behave. ( You already BELONG to God.)

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR SHAME OR GUILT !!!

Jesus came to this earth to FORGIVE sin. ALL Sin of fallen humanity. The Good News is that this means YOUR sins...ALL of them. Now here is what it would be like for you if you 100% believed this.

You would believe Jesus Forgave (past tense) all of your sins at the Cross by becoming The Sinner of your sins for you. II Cor.5:21. What this means is that on your part sins are not accounted to you they are accounted to the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world. Some call this process the Great Exchange. That Jesus exchanges His righteousness for our unrighteousness and therefore the Father is able to look at us as sinless, Holy, blameless, pure, without spot or blemish and righteousness sharing in Jesus' own righteousness. We stand in this position before God the Father "in perpetuity". Permanently. Forever. Do you believe this? Probably not 100%. Now what that means is what follows.

By NOT seeing who we are in Jesus and believing what He has done to us, and for us, and in us, and through us we suffer from the darkened mind we inherited from father
Adam. We doubt, we of course sin, we are burdened with shame and guilt and we suffer needlessly. It simply boils down to our personal lack of faith.

So how does one increase this faith which we all lack in? Answer: By believing what we are told in scripture. God loves us. He wants to live with us forever. He gave His Son Jesus to make payment for the perfection of His plan to have ALL humanity come alive in Jesus and thereby live IN and WITH Him and Jesus and The Holy Spirit FOREVER. Triune God chose all of us before the world was even created and He chose us by NAME--this means YOU personally by name. You have always belonged to God. He blessed us in Jesus and proclaimed our life and salvation in Jesus BEFORE THE WORLD was created. ( Ephesians 1:1-14 ).

When we exercise guilt or shame over our sins we are NOT seeing the Magnitude of the sacrifice of the Lamb of God slain from before the foundation of the world. Rev.13:8.

Can we believe what John tells us in I John 3:5, that in Jesus there is NO SIN?

God simply does not count our sins against us. He is not keeping a list and checking it twice. He forgives sins and forgets them before we ever commit them!!

The more we lift up Jesus and magnify His Name and His Work and His life as the head of the human race which He loves, the more faith we will see in our life and guilt and shame will become a thing of the past.

GRACE IS "TOO BIG" FOR SOME !

Is Jesus going to save the world? If so, then how? Is Jesus' sacrificial and atoning work going to be applied to ALL human beings? And, if so, then when will it? Will it be applied and become effective when someone "repents" and "accepts" Jesus? Another question. Is Jesus trying to get the world saved now? One more question. Is Jesus trying to get saved Christians to STOP SINNING? That's a good one.

This whole world became LOST in and through the sin of Adam. All humanity received the death penalty in the sin of Adam and the fallenness we all have lived in since. All humans have had and still have a darkened mind influenced by the prince of darkness. Humanity has suffered under the sway of this power since the garden of Eden. Mankind simply was lost to the evil force and death was the result.

When Jesus came as the incarnate Son of God His work, His mission, His purpose was to 'reverse', if you will, what occurred in Adam. His mission was to bring LIFE to a DEAD humanity and heal the cosmos. He was not trying to "improve" man's position by getting man to become sinless for He knew man lived in the fallenness of Adam with a darkened mind.

Jesus came to SAVE what was LOST. He did. (Lk.19:10). Notice these scriptures which DECLARE this salvation as FACT. John 1:29,"...Behold Jesus, who takes away the sin of the world!" Luke 23:34 "...Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." Since Adam, this has been the case in EVERYTHING. Jesus was the 'propitiation' or payment, or sacrifice for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD. (IJn.2:2). John 3:16 tells us that God so loved the WORLD.

Jesus is not just for Christians. God loves ALL of His children. The Whole World. God has made alive ALL humans since Adam in Jesus. ( ICor.15:22). All things have been reconciled in and through the blood of Christ. ( Col.1:20).

Jesus did not come to 'get man to stop sinning'. Jesus came to FORGIVE Sin. Sin had to be forgiven in order to effect the gift of God, which is eternal life. The wages of sin is DEATH. But the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE. This is a truth for all of humanity. It is by God's sovereign will. It is given out of Love. God the Father and Jesus Christ LOVE all of us. There is no challenge to live with God forever. It is a done deal. We all belong to the Great Triune God. Believe it and live it. More next time.

BUT I "LOVE" THE THEOLOGY OF HELL FIRE!!!

HELL. People's view of hell and its torturing fire for the unrepentant lost is arguably the greatest obstacle people face in coming to embrace Trinitarian, Adoption and Inclusion Theology and the salvation and redemption of ALL humans.

People just LOVE their hell and if you mess with it they get fighting mad. Why is this? In their self righteous selves of obedience and "doing" their Christian duty they see others who are sinners beyond measure and undeserving of salvation and must pay for all the "fun" they are having in the flesh now with the hell fire they deserve.

We all grew up with the concept of reward and punishment. Heaven for 'good' people and hell for evil people. Gifts for good little boys and girls and switches and ashes for bad ones. Religion historically the world over has always had this concept. All based on legalism and works with 'heaven' for good people and the netherworld or some type of suffering for evil ones.

When you really analyze this concept you will find that it actually comes from the great father of lies, Satan the devil who is a liar from the beginning. He wants to make the Father look like a harsh, vindictive, vengeful, wrathful, hateful, monster who would gain pleasure from the charred flesh of his children burning in some hell hole forever.

The ancients, and in particular the Greeks, had always had a philosophy of a netherworld or underworld for the suffering of evil men who had died. In the 4th century B.C. the Greek philosopher, Plato, took the concept, embellished it giving it names dividing the netherworld into departments with its attending torturing FIRE and called it "hell" naming it after an ancient Greek Goddess named 'hel'.

Nearly 1000 years later in the 5th century A.D. St. Augustine of Hippo, considered to be the 'father of the Catholic church and an avid fan of Plato introduced the idea of Hell, hell fire, torturing evil people forever in the depths of suffering to the church. And it has stayed in the WESTERN CHRISTIAN CHURCH'S THEOLOGY ever since.

For the first 500 years since Jesus death the idea of hell was simply living in one's own life choices, eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and suffering the consequences. But, when one came to know who they actually were IN Jesus the light of understanding went off in their life and they transitioned from a life of darkness into a life of 'abundance' in Jesus. ( John 10:10 ).

To conclude: A refusal to accept and believe who one is in Jesus which denies one the happiness of sharing in the heavenly blessings (Eph.1) is living in HELL . And this refusal Can last forever. Remember, God is not willing for any to perish-- continued suffering--Gk. "appolumi", but for all to come to repentance-- Gk. "Metanoia"--simply a change of mind of who we are IN Jesus. ( II Peter 3:9).

THE GREAT CONNECTION

Let's take a look at a few things that make all of us brothers and sisters in Christ. From acts 17 we know that God made from ONE blood all men, and women, to dwell on the face of the earth. Not only are we all made from ONE blood, we are all descended from one SEED. Amazingly, it has now been proven that all humans on the planet have a common ancestor in one common mother. The scriptures call her EVE. Her created husband was Adam.

So what do we see here? IF all of us came from ONE seed having a common mother then the simple definition of this is called brotherhood. And sisterhood. We all are just simply brothers and sisters.

But there is more. Jesus said in John 14:20 that HE was in the Father, the Father was IN Him and that He was is ALL of us. There is a magnificent connection here between all brothers and sisters, all of humanity on the earth. That connection is in Jesus by the same Spirit since Jesus is in ALL of us and we ALL are in Him, we ALL are somehow IN EACH OTHER. Same common mother, father, Spirit, Jesus, and the Father. There is a human UNITY in all of mankind which is connected by the loving Father who created all of us to be brothers and sisters in Him. A Family if you will.

The father of lies (John 8:44) would have us believe that we are all different. All separated from one another. Class distinction. Race distinction. Country distinction. Religious distinction. All in competition of the survival of the fittest. (Darwin).
But we are not in that competition in Jesus. We are brothers and sisters IN each other for the eternal blessings of being with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit forever. Just living, loving, and enjoying life together forever.

Not only has Jesus connected us to each other, He has bridged the gap between God and humanity and connected us to the eternal Triune God, Forever.

DOES GOD WANT OR NEED OUR PRAISE ?

Let's see if we can create a little argument and disagreement to start with!

Last time, I wrote of the "Omni-Everything-God" conceived by the Greeks and pagans eons ago. This god is really no different than any of the other gods of the mythical gods who do not exist. This god is One, he is all powerful, all wise, all knowing, everywhere present, all everything. Just like Zeus, Diana, Osiris, Isis, and any and all of the other non-gods of antiquity.

These gods "exist" in the minds of their devotees to be honored, glorified, worshipped, and of course PRAISED at any opportunity which may arise. This god lives on , thrives on, rides on, is exalted by, and revels in the PRAISES of his followers. Again, this 'Omni-god' does NOT exist. While this may sound good to the Western mind deluded by Plato's philosophy of god, it is far from the truth. So what is the truth?

God is FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT. Triune God exists in a face to face loving relationship in the Trinity. He created us , not to tell Him how great He is and spend all of our time 'praising' Him, but to LIVE. Live life as He created it ABUNDANTLY. John 10:10. He wants us to live free as a bird in Jesus Christ. He wants us to acknowledge what He has done to us and for us and in us and through us IN Jesus Christ. This knowing allows us to live as He designed us to live. And, not only live this abundant life NOW, but to live it eternally with Him and IN Him through Jesus by the Holy Spirit FOREVER.

The True Triune God is ALL about Relationships. The relationship He has within the Trinity and the relationships He has created us to be WITHIN that Trinity forever. Remember, Eternal Life is KNOWING THE FATHER- THE TRUE GOD.

Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit does not NEED or require our continual Praise. It is not the fuel that fires His engines. His greatness is not enhanced by our pandering. He wants us to LIVE now and forever abundantly in Jesus and INSIDE of His Triune existence in RELATIONSHIP. Father to son. Son to Father. Father to daughter. Daughter to Father. All made possible and assured in Jesus Christ.

He is NOT the OMNI Potentate that Plato devised and handed down nine hundred years later to St. Augustine of Hyppo--considered to be the father of the Catholic Church.

We live in the life of God now. Jesus lives in all of humanity now. All humanity lives in Jesus now.( John 14:20.) God simply wants us to enjoy what He has blessed us with in Jesus ( Eph.1:3-14) and in so doing this Praises is all the Praise that is of any consequence. This knowing engenders Thankfulness and praise on our behalf as we become filled with assurance, acceptance and love. Triune God did not create us to Praise Him. He created us to Live with Him and in Him forever.

GOD DAMN THE LIE !!!

Since you live in the West, as I, you grew up with the concept of God which went something like this: God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, All-wise, All-knowing, All-Powerful, Creator, unchangeable, unmovable, and Vengeful. Hating mankind's sins and holding for eternal punishment the fires of Hell and unimaginable suffering for the humans who don't measure up to His standards. He is vengeful, unaccepting of anything other than holy perfection, punishing, distant, separated from us humans, and unapproachable and unable to look upon sin. I could go on and on about this OMNI-GOD, OR "OGRE GOD" as some refer to him as, but I won't. What I have just described to you , and you can check it out on the Internet or in books, is the God of the Greeks touted by Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, and other ancient philosophers such as Kant, Descartes, and other famous Greeks. So do YOUR homework if you doubt what I say here. That god out of the minds of the pagan philosophers simply DOES NOT EXIST.

What is missing in the description above? Well for one thing that god is totally one who wants and needs to be SERVED, WORSHIPED, PRAISED, PATRONIZED, PANDERED TO, and one who is the unknowable Potentate. If he existed at all, he is there to be exalted from vainglorious self seeking exultation. Wait!!! He does NOT exist!!

And that is GOOD NEWS!!! So what is God like? Who is God? How is God? Now we get to the really good part.

God is and has forever been , FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT in a LOVE Relationship. He is the ONE Triune God. He is love and He loves you and me. He accepts us and LIKES us. He does not always approve everything we do. He is the one in Gen.1:26-27 who said let us make man in our image and likeness. God had never experienced humanness and by creating humans now would be able to adopt mankind into His life and love forever made possible by the Incarnation and life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. God wanted to share the Holy relationship He had had within the Trinity with now His human family. God simply loved all of His creation BEFORE anything was ever created and wanted to live with all of us forever.

There are several powerful scriptures that make this plain. Notice: II Tim.1:9, God saved us BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF TIME. Eph.1:4-7, "He chose us in Him to be blameless IN HIS SIGHT, (not ours), adopted, Included, and predetermined it so IN Jesus according to His pleasure and His will."

We read Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world, in Rev.13:8. The all time Saviour IN PERPETUITY. God has always had relationship with His family, with Him, in the forefront of His thinking since He devised the plan originally. He gives us LIFE in His Son forever and assures our being with Him and IN Him.

Finally, in Ephesians 2:6-9, we read that God IN Christ has taken all of humanity and raised all of us up with Jesus and seated us all at the right hand of the Father in the Heavenly Realms. Quite different from the Ogre God of the pagans. ( Who does NOT exist.)

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit want to live in RELATIONSHIP based on LOVE with all of their family FOREVER. YOU ARE INCLUDED. You are Adopted. You are loved, You are wanted, You are the child God has always wanted since before time began.. Can you believe this or are you still cowering under the false concept of the Ogre, Pagan , nameless, Omni God who really doesn't like you and only loves you when you PERFORM to His standard?

Lord, Help our darkened minds to See who YOU really are and who we really are in You.

Jesus, Light of the World, come and shine upon us all and let us see. ( John 8:12).

Matt.20 TRINITARIAN THEOLOGY IN THE VINYARD

In Matthew 20 we read the parable of the vineyard workers each receiving the same amount of money for whatever period of time each worked in the vineyard on this given day. The same amount, a denarius, was given to each no matter how long each labored in the vineyard. Well, I see a great point of Trinitarian Adoption and Inclusion of God in this parable. Not money!!!

If one were to look at this parable from a monetary standpoint only, then it really makes no sense to anyone that it would be fair to pay a worker, worthy of his hire, the same amount if he worked for one hour or for twelve hours. This is not the real point of the parable. True enough, the land owner can pay whatever amount was agreed upon, but the parable is NOT about "payment".

I think the key verse here is verse 14. "....I want to GIVE the man who was hired last the same as I gave you, the first." The point is about God GIVING. Not what is earned or expected.

I see Jesus as the owner of the vineyard which is the human experience of all of humanity laboring on earth and no matter what is strived for, worked for, or accomplished by human efforts, do NOT affect Jesus, the Vinyard owner, and His GIVING of His right to GIVE Life to everyone simply because He wants to. The vineyard owner said, " I have the right to do with my gifts, ie, heavenly blessings -- Ephesians 1:3-6, as I so choose." And so does Jesus!

In these verses in Ephesians 1:3-6 , we see all of humanity, all the workers in the vineyard of humanity, being given and blessed with everything God has to bless us all with. It can not be worked for or earned. It can only be accepted and believed by all of us and received with gladness and thankfulness.

TWO GODS...AUGUSTINE'S OR THE BIBLE'S

What a great post by Dr. C. Baxter Kruger on his latest blog post at www.baxterkruger.blogspot.com concerning "two Gods." These two are the god created in the mind of St. Augustine ( 'Father of the RCC' ) and the true God of the Bible. Let's look at the differences.

Augustine's god, which most all of Western Christian philosophical theology embraces says the following:

God is Separated from us and distant "up" there somewhere.
He is angry at us.
We live under His wrath and anger against us personally
HE is Judgemental
He is condemning
He is retributive
He punishes
We are not his until we accept him and believe
Sin cuts us off from God
He is legalistic
He deals in rewards and punishment
He has a torturing hell fire for those who won't love him back and believe.
Man is not adopted, accepted and included in the life of God.
Man could never do enough to please this god.

There is more, but you get the picture.

Now for the true Great Triune God of the Bible.

He is LOVE
He is all FORGIVING
He is MERCIFUL AND FULL OF GRACE FOR ALL
He , in Jesus, ADOPTED US AND INCLUDED US ALL IN HIS LIFE BEFORE CREATION
He is NOT LEGALISTIC
He is NOT RETRIBUTIVE
He does NOT PUNISH US FOR OUR MISTAKES AND SINS---HE FORGIVES
He ACCEPTS US ALL IN JESUS, REGARDLESS OF OUR SINS AND IMPERFECTIONS
He LOVES US AND LIKES US
He WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER WITH US IN HIS LIFE
He ALREADY HAS BLESSED MAN WITH EVERY HEAVENLY BLESSING IN JESUS CHRIST
He is NOT DISTANT AND SEPARATED FROM US BUT LIVES IN ALL HUMANS ( Jn.14:20)
Sin does NOT CUT US OFF FROM THE FATHER, HE FORGIVES SIN AND LOVES US STILL
He is GOOD
He is PATIENT
He is KIND
He is GENTLE
He is MEEK
He loves us all so much that He declares EVERYTHING JESUS IS...TO US ALL !!!

Two Gods. One false. One True. Which one do you like? Which one do you wish to be with forever? This is a NO-BRAINER.

It is a wonder that the Church in the West has been able to exist as long as it has under the wrong philosophy of Augustine. The Good News ISN'T. Religion is suffocating. May the true God of the Bible emerge in the thinking of all in the days to come.

HIDDEN JEALOUSY....WE ALL HAVE IT.

. JEALOUSY. What a terrible character trait. And, we ALL have it. You are jealous and I am jealous. So I am accusing you of being jealous and I know I am jealous.
Now this trait can take on many many different complexities. Which we won't go into now. But there is one area that I want to discuss with all of us. Because it affects all of us.

This is the area of Jealousy that affects all of us in NOT recognizing an accomplishment another (peer) has done.

Why? Well, somehow it diminishes us in our own eyes to realize that another has done something or accomplished something what we HAVE NOT. Well maybe we could have if we had not been so lazy or had lacked the ability or the education to have accomplished the same thing, but nevertheless, we did not do it and someone else did and therefore we are jealous. We are envious.

Why can we not just esteem the other better than ourselves. BETTER THAN OURSELVES. Especially in this or that particular area. Well we are vain and self centered and we do not want another rising above us in any area and we just ignore the situation.

We deal with it in passive non response. We just do not want to recognize what the accomplishment is or was since it will demean our personal self respect. We deny what another has done since it mitigates against what we have done or not done.

Are we all human or what? Hey, swallow your pride and learn to esteem another GREATER than yourself. Give praise where praise is due. Encourage another. Git off of your self wagon and support what others do and are doing. OR, DO SOMETHING YOURSELF.

Damn, I am good. Hell, No one is better than me. I am the best. I am the greatest.
No one can outdo me. The proof is in the pudding. Eat and swallow your pride.

BAD NEWS EVANGELISM AND THE TRUTH

I have watched and listened to a number of media evangelists in the last couple of days and was so overwhelmingly discouraged by their message of anything but GOOD NEWS that I am motivated to write this blog.

The consistent messaged is that those of you who are lost need to come to Christ and accept Him as your Saviour. Then the message for those who have come to Christ is that you must do all of any number of things to please God and thereby live in His will. For those who remain 'Lost' the punishment of the fires of Hell await and for those who do not please God through 'doing' whatever, the same flames await them as well. Does this sound like GOOD NEWS to you? Well, it doesn't to me !!!

The Gospel of Salvation is presented as a possibility for one or a potential reality for one, but something yet to be attained and received based on what one does. It may or may not be come a reality for the person.

There again, does this sound like 'GOOD NEWS' to you? Well, it doesn't to me !!!

I hear words like 'striving' and 'sacrificing' and 'suffering' and 'qualifying' and 'making' it, etc. ad nauseum. Sounds inspiring? Well, not to me !!!

The TRUE GOSPEL is so inspiring and uplifting and wonderful for ALL humanity, already accomplished in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ as a done deal for all humans it is almost beyond belief! ( Ephesians 2:6).

God's plan for man from the very beginning was to have man live with God forever inside the life of God in His heavenly realm. The plan was completed for all through the INCARNATION of Jesus Christ and His connecting humanity to the Father.(Eph.1:3-14)

The GOOD NEWS is Good for all people. The Devil has been defeated. Sin has been defeated, overcome and forgiven in Jesus' blood. Life has been granted to all humans who were dead in Adam. ( I Cor. 15:22). It's all GOOD.

What is left for any person to do in the Salvation process and reality is to simply accept it and believe it then experience it now and forever. All the guess work is taken out of the equasion. It is NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. It is the TRUTH. Jesus lives in all of us humans. ( John 14:20). The Holy Spirit is in the process of revealing this truth to all people in His own time until all humans who have ever lived know it.

You just happen to know it now. Accept it and believe it. Experience it.

IT is GOOD NEWS.

"QUANTUMJUMPING" NEW NAME / OLD HERESY

QUANTUMJUMPING. If you have not heard of it yet, you probably will sooner or later. What is it and why is Bert Goldman's "new" metaphysics catching on around the world?
You can check it out at www.quantumjumping.com. ( It is nothing more than the old demonic practice of ASTRAL PROJECTION associated with witchcraft, and trancendental meditation, et.al.)

Quantumjumping theorizes that a person can achieve all the blessings and benefits of existence by taking a flying Quantum leap into a parallel universe where he/she meets up with their immortal past lives and self to realize WHO they are presently and where they are going. This is supposed to unlock the 'secrets' of life, existence, the past, the future, and one's immortal life. It is supposedly the answer to all of the questions one could possibly ask in our existence.

Why is it gaining such a following in the 21st Century? And, why is it so Theologically destructive? How does it replace the TRUTH of God with such fantasy?

Here goes. The GREAT TRIUNE GOD, Father, Son and Holy Spirit originated a wonderful Plan which would create humanity to be adopted and included into God's very existence. ( Eph.1:3-14). This plan was secured completely in Jesus Christ's life, death, resurrection and ascension for ALL HUMANITY. The entire UNIVERSE is promised to be under the care and direction of humanity one day. ( Heb.2:5-8). All the blessings of the Heavenly Realm of the Holy God have been given to humanity in, by, through and for Jesus Christ. God loves His children and He wants to forever continually bless and make happy with PLEASURES FOREVERMORE those children.(Ps.16:11)

There is a great being and deceiver who will do anything to supplant this truth of God with any lie and false philosophy his fallen mind can devise. He is a liar and the father of lies. He is the great deceiver. Mankind has fallen for his deception for thousands of years. And, man still does.

God's plan stands firm. It HAS BEEN accomplished in Jesus Christ. We win. The devil looses. But, until God's plan is realized both subjectively and objectively at the same time this same type of foolishness will continue to take man's mind and heart away from the love of God and His great Plan for humanity. Sad, but true. Quantumjumping is just one more false heresy, like Scientology, which Satan and man have devised to deceive.

BUT THAT IS TOO SIMPLE !!!

. The Gospel according to Western Theological thinking of Dualism and the separation position of humanity and God is so convoluted with all the do's and dont's that it is anything but simple. So, whenever the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is presented to someone often times it is met the response of, " Well, that is TOO Simple." OR, " Well, that is too EASY."

Let me ask you a few questions. What is too simple to be understood about the following points:

God is Love.
God Loves you.
God designed His original plan to be successful for everyone whoever lived.
God knew you and adopted you into his life, in Jesus, before creation. ( Eph.1:3-14).
Adam sinned and brought death on all humans. But, Jesus voided that and brought life.
God has always known you and always wanted you to be with Him forever.
Jesus came to make it all happen for everyone who would BELIEVE.
Jesus forgave all of your and my sins before we were BORN.
There is NOTHING ELSE we can do to make salvation true for us. We can believe or not.
Our sins ( all FORGIVEN IN JESUS ) have NO bearing on our eternal life with God.
You and I were saved before the creation of the world in Jesus who was slain before the creation of the world.
Repentance has NOTHING to do with being " sorry " for past sins.
Repentance ( Gk. Metanoia ) is simply a change of mind of WHO we are in Jesus.
The plan of God was a done deal before it ever got started to begin with.
There is NO such thing as an ever burning , torturing hell fire.(That's Plato's idea)

Oh, you say , "Well that is Universal Salvation." Well, NO IT IS NOT. It is, however, Universal Salvation in HOPE. And, if all humans ever come to the point of believing this truth and accepting it, even 'Post Mortem', then at that point it will be universal salvation for all. But, scripture allows for that to never happen whether it does or not.

Now , I am getting a little deeper than I intended here in this blog. The point is that the Gospel is really GOOD NEWS for all humanity and it IS simple. To make a long story short as we say:

GOD LOVES YOU AND SAVED YOU IN JESUS TO BE WITH HIM FOREVER. The End of story.

Too simple?, Well, yes for some folks. But keep studying and learning and sooner or later the light will go on for you and you WILL see it.

SHAME, GUILT AND EMBARRASSMENT

SHAME. GUILT. EMBARRASSMENT. All of us living in the fallenness of Adam with our darkened minds suffer with shame and guilt. Needlessly!!!

We look back on sins of actions and sins of thought and these make us feel distanced from the Holy God. We feel that this is who we are, or were, and that this person is not good enough or worthy to be mentioned in the same sentence with Jesus Christ.

Shame is a heavy load, indeed, carried around by us. We have hidden sins, closet habits, weaknesses of all kinds and shame. No one is immune to these feelings.

So what is the solution? What is the answer? Where was or is Jesus in all of my garbage can of life? ANSWER: He is IN the can with us! Jesus meets us IN our darkness revealing Himself to us as comforter and Saviour. As friend and companion. As forgiver and deliverer. As friend.

Jesus knows the power of His sacrifice and the power of His becoming sin for us and tasting death for all of us. ( II Cor.5:21; Heb.2:9). Even in our darkness and while we are still sinners Jesus is NOT ASHAMED to call us brothers and sisters. Why? Because He has taken all the sin, shame, guilt, suffering, and death upon Himself FOR all of us FREEING us to live in Him the Abundant life of freedom in total forgiveness, acceptance, and love. How good is that?

Yes, in my life in the fallenness of Adam I have done many things, thought many things that caused my death in the first Adam. But Praise be to God, IN Jesus I, and you, have been made ALIVE---FOREVER. ( I Cor.15:22). God is Good. Thank you Jesus.

TIGER WOODS AND THE GOSPEL

Tiger Woods has taken the spotlight in the news for the last few weeks. The most recognisable sports figure in the world has fallen from the graces of his sponsors and his fans. He has been judged, ridiculed, condemned and crucified by the media and some individuals as well. True, he has been found out to be a wandering package of hormones looking for release outside of his God provided wife. He apparently is guilty of all charges. Now how do you look at Tiger Woods?

Some look at him with envy wishing that they could with his money do the exact thing he did yet without being caught. Some look at him condemning him for his very human and base actions. Some look at him with jealousy knowing that they could never have garnered the ability to have that many beautiful women in their life. Some point fingers at Tiger with a feeling of letdown. Whatever your emotions are towards Mr. Tiger Woods, let us remember that he is a man. He has feet of clay. He has human nature and a good dose of it like so many of us have. According to God's law of love, he sinned. He IS guilty.

Jesus ran into this same situation in John chapter 8 when he was faced with a woman who was an adulteress and fornicator and sinner. Jesus had any number of men around her that judged, condemned her, and "sentenced" her. Jesus just knelt down in the dirt and wrote on the ground, apparently the sins of those men, and then looked up at her with all of her accusers gone and said, " Woman, I do not condemn you, go and sin no more." Jesus is all about second chances. All about forgiveness even if the second chances take the form of 70 times 70 . They are all forgiven and another chance is held out. Perpetually. Forgiveness is a permanent thing with Jesus. He died for all of our sins and weaknesses including Tiger Woods'.

Being a man, I can understand Tiger's raging hormone battle and desire for fruit on other pastures. That doesn't make it right, but then again I do understand.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit accept all us where we are at all times. They do not always APPROVE of all that we do. But, in Jesus with all sin forgiven we all stand holy in God's presence through the great work and life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, our SAVIOUR.

Tiger was loved, adopted, and included in the life of God from before the foundation of the world. Eph. 1:3-14. God will always love him and desire to live forever with him. Tiger just needs to come to the point where he believes this and accepts it.

How Tiger and God work things out is their business. All we need do is pray for him and his family.

PAINTING THE TRUTH OVER IT ALL

. A few years ago a man in Chicago bought a framed picture at a pawn store for $500. The picture of Renaissance genre was beautiful. Every detail was clear and the colors were indeed lovely to behold. Since the price was reasonable there was no reason to think that the painting was anything but genuine. However, after the man got back home and began to examine the painting more closely there emerged a totally different picture. One that would rock his world. While the painting he purchased for only $500 was indeed a masterpiece in itself, what was really the true art was something no one would have imagined.

It was noticed that under the surface paint of the visible picture lay 'another' painting of much greater value. Much greater detail. Much greater quality. What was hidden by a very good picture was a actually a Rembrandt painting worth millions. The original painting was the real deal. The real thing. Now revealed and now not covered up by a painting that looked nice, looked of quality, but was not the real deal. Not the actual true painting the original was meant to be.

The beauty of the false painting obscured the real painting that lay behind it for centuries.

Modern Christianity is much like this painting scenario I have just described. There was an original picture of truth Jesus taught, the early Church leaders taught , such as John, Polycarp, Ireneaus, Athanasius, and all of the early church leaders.

In time with the coming of Augustine of Hippo, the true understanding of the love of God, the Adoption of humanity and the Inclusion of all of humanity into the life of God was "painted" over with a new and different theology. The original painting , the "Rembrandt", if you will, was completely obscured from the view of mankind. ( Except by a few.)

Dualism came into the picture. Separation from the loving Father came into the picture. A retributive God came into the picture to punish and torture men who would not like and love him back. ie, Hell fire and torment. The Gospel became anything but the 'Good News'. It became really bad news for many people.

But the truth of God is that God loves the world. He is not mad at us at all. Jesus takes upon himself in the incarnation all of the sins of the whole of mankind and reconciles all of humanity and saves all of humanity in Himself. We just have to know it and believe it.

Grace is a Gift. No rules to live by. No things to do or not do. Just a gift to be received and accepted and believed.

God is a Father who loves all of us with a love that can not be put into human words.
So, I won't try. But God the Father loves YOU. Yes YOU. And Jesus has made all the arrangements to have you live with Him and the Father Forever in His Eternal Kingdom. You can be there and enjoy it if you will believe it.

THE ANSWER WHEN WE SEE NO ANSWER!

When there is NO answer. We pray. We beg. We importune. God hears obviously. But He does not answer the way we wish. Illnesses goes unhealed. Death is snatched from the living of those we love and who are much too young to die. Where is God in all of this misery and suffering??

Answer, He is in the middle of it all. No name escapes His eternal plan in Jesus, Orchestrated from before the foundation of the world. ( Eph.1:3-14).

All humans have lived out their lives in the fallenness of father Adam. Sin has wreaked untold misery and suffering on humanity. But thanks be to God, that through Jesus Christ , Jesus has 'trumpted' everything in Adam and healed it and made it whole and healthy and healed. We could stop right there, but we won't.

We see a child suffering from an incurable illeness. We see a child in the depths of drug addiction. We see a child in the throws of child prostitution with all the attendant suffering and misery and we ask, "God, where are you, don't you hear and dont you care.?"

Well, YES he does. He hears and He cares. He cares so much so that THE ONLY SON HE EVER HAD was allowed to live out His life and so perfectly that He paid the price for ALL human sin and suffering. So that we all could live eternally with the Father in His Glory and FUN forever.

Now we see through a glass darkly, fuzzy. But one day we shall see it all clearly and then we shall understand. God is Good . and He is always Good and will be forever.

What we see and suffering and misery one day will be forgotten and only the glory of the Triune God will display His eternal redemption and reconciliation and blessing in Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, I will have more, please.

JESUS REVEALS THE FATHER

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving Season? I am thankful that Jesus came to, among other things, reveal the Father to all of us. The Hebrew world had many false gods as well as the God of Israel. But the God of Israel was viewed as somewhat austere and stern demanding obedience from His followers. Curses would ensue if strict adherence were not followed. ( Lev.26 and Deut. 28). Jesus came to reveal the Father He had always known. Jesus said, if you have seen me, you have seen the father. OK, then what did or do we see in Jesus?

Jesus reveals the sweetness and tenderness of a loving, kind, gentle, and patient Father who loves all of us. The Father wants and desires very much to have a family. One made possible in Jesus. The Father wants everyone. Jesus describes the "least of these MY Brethren" when he gets down into the dirt with the blind man and makes clay from spit and heals his eyes. He describes the least of these when he goes into the Leper camp and gets down in the dirt and heals the lepers. He lifts children up into his arms whether they can WALK OR NOT. TALK OR NOT. Jesus goes into the rescue missions and tells the inhabitants that, " I love all of you and have since before the foundation of the world. I knew you and your NAME".

Jesus goes under countless bridges and tells those that the Father loves them and that they matter and have since before the foundation of the world and at the Cross.
Jesus tells all that what He does, the Father does. If you have seen me you have seen the Father, Jesus said.

Jesus reveals a Father who is Love. Love for all. Not a retributive god, but a Father. A loving Father , not a vengeful God. Jesus reveals a Father who cuddles his children, comforts them, walks with them, encourages them, lifts them up to His very throne in Heaven and wants to live with us all forever. Jesus reveals a Father who made it all happen in Jesus. No stone was left unturned. All nails were nailed into the coffin. It is Done. It is finished as Jesus said in, John 19:30.

Jesus goes to the crack addicts, the heroine addicts, the alcoholics, the unwed mothers, ( and fathers) , the homeless, the down and out, the ill, the diseased, the weak of the world, victims of our fallen nature. Everyone. And, Jesus says, "you, the least of my brethren, I love you. I died for you. I knew you before the foundation of the world and I want to live with you forever. Can you believe this?"

Yes , the least of these my brethren are all around. And Jesus AND the Father get down on their knees and love us all.

WHO IS THE LEAST OF THESE MY BRETHREN?

"As you have done it to these the least of these MY brethren, you have done unto me."
Do you realize the importance and implication of this statement of Jesus? All of us, all of humanity, are the brethren of Jesus. There are no throw backs. Now let's take stock.

Look at the down and out. The drug addicts. The alcoholics, the mentally ill, the chronic abusers of any and everything. The street people , the homeless, the rejected by society and all too often that means the ones who fought valiantly in Viet Nam, and other wars and conflicts.

What about fatherless mothers, innocent children of conceptions which should never have taken place? Where is Jesus in all of these peoples lives?

Well the GOOD NEWS IS, that ALL of these individuals were chosen and adopted into the very life of God before the foundation of the world. ( Eph. 1:3-14.) They are not cast offs as our world would look at them ..they are the children of God. And He loves all of them just as He loves you.

Now frankly some of them stink. Some of them are not fun to be around. Some of them I would not want to chill with. But.................They are God's children and HE loves them.

John 3:16-17, is ALL inclusive as are so many other verses. I John 2:2. And others.

So what do we all self righteous persons make of all of this. Well , for one, we need to drop our self-righteousness, accept all humans as brothers in the Lord, the children of God, never make comparisons, never denigrate or disparage those in all of these less fortunate situations as we and love everyone. Not discriminating.

We are ALL brothers and sisters in The Lord. No room for comparisons. No room for disrespect. Only room for acceptance and love. Can you deal with it? Then do.

EXPERIENCING HUMANITY FOREVER...LIKE JESUS

The HUMANITY OF JESUS CHRIST. What a beautiful truth this is that Jesus is still a human with a body and humanness. But.................I think we need to be careful to clarify just what this means as to His being still fully human and yet fully God with all of the fullness of the Godhead dwelling bodily in Jesus presently.

While it is clear that Jesus is a man...still, and a man who still possesses His humanity we need to be careful to say what this is NOT saying. Jesus lived in the fallenness of Adam through Mary. He had human nature from her and the fall. He had and experienced all the darkened mind and fallenness in Adam that we all do but without sin.

Now with Him being resurrected and ascended to the Father's right hand His humanness is a bit different than what he experienced here on this earth. He is a man to be sure. Paul calls him , " ...the man Jesus Christ". Jesus is fully human even now. However, He does not experience the same human passions He experienced here on this earth under the sway of the devil and the nature derived from the first Adam. He is Human. He is not anything which would have been operative here on this earth under the nature of the fall. Therefore, he does not , nor would he lust, desire to sin, nor does he have any inherent desire to sin in any way we humans do here on this earth in this earthly "tent". Jesus is not going to get drunk, curse, sware, lust, overeat, or anything else we humans are known to do in "OUR" HUMANITY and fallenness.

Jesus UNDERSTANDS our frailty and weaknesses as humans. He has been here. As God in the humanness of Jesus in the heavenlies Jesus has already experienced and tasted all of the evil things human nature had to throw at Him, tempted in all areas, yet without sin. He still is without sin, but He is still Human. And always will be. forever pure and Holy and God. And Saviour.

Jesus example is that as He is we shall be. We shall be human forever. Able to experience the things in God's love that humans experience. We will keep our individual identity forever. We will be able to do things that humans do. Eat, drink, play, walk, have fun and experience pleasure. ( Ps. 16:11). But we will not be some "Casper the friencly Ghost" in some invisible spirit body, but we will be us. Real. Human. And Glorified. What God has in mind for us to do as we continue living in our humanity, will be revealed in due time by our loving Father.

TELL THEM YOU 'LOVE' THEM !!!

Dreams, as you know, can be seem quite real as one sleeps. A dream I recently had caused me to write this blog as I hope it inspires all of us to do what we should. In the dream one of my very dear acquaintances unexpectedly died at the age of 50. Having shown NO signs of illness prior his wife came to me to tell me he had had a seisure the day before. I asked her how he was. To my disbelief and shock, she said he was DEAD. I could not believe it at first. He seemed so vibrant and full of life. He loved fishing, making lures, baseball, college football, writing, and loving his family. I loved him as a dear friend and mentor.

Now I am not writing here to describe how he was now immediately in heaven with the Lord (which he would have been !), I am writing to all of us to simply say that we never know from one day to the next if we will see another person alive. That includes friends, husbands, wives, children, relatives, or anyone else in our bank of acquaintances we love. NOW, my point here is this. "When did you last, or if ever, tell these persons in your life that you LOVED them. Really LOVED them?" Maybe you never have or at least it has been a long time since you did.

Some men think it too 'mushy' or unmanly to tell another man , friend, or relative that he LOVES the person. Jesus shows us that it is HIGHLY appropriate for a man to express his love for his friends who are men. Jesus even asks Peter, " Do you LOVE me?". Are we any less or more that what Jesus exemplifies?

I tell you today, tell those you love that, " You love them!" Learn how to say, "I love you!" And mean it!!! Verbalize it. Say it. Tell them. TODAY !!!

Tomorrow may be too late.

WHY MANY CHRISTIANS 'HATE' GRACE

Why some Christians 'Hate' Grace. If that doesn't sound like a contradiction of mammoth proportions then I don't know what it is! Why would I or anyone say that? Grace is what we are saved by. Grace is an extension of God's Love. Grace is God's Gift to humanity which allows salvation in Jesus and life with God forever. How could anyone 'hate' Grace?

A brief review is in order here. Jn.3:16-17, "God loved the world of humanity so much that He gave His only begotten son for the salvation of the human race." ( My personal loose translation.) All of humanity was adopted into the life of God through Jesus before the foundation or creation of the world. (Eph.1:3-14). In Adam all humanity Died, but in Jesus the same all humanity are made alive with Jesus. I Corinthians 15:22. AND, are made alive in Jesus through His resurrection and seated at the right hand of the Father WITH Jesus. Eph.2:6.

Now. With that little review there do you begin to see why some, if not many Christians, 'hate' Grace? Well, let me tell you. This Grace which saves all of us is a gift from God not based on anything we humans can do to warrant or earn it. It is a gift. Eph.2:8. And, it is a gift for ALL. The price was RIGHT. The payment has been made for the whole world. I Jn.2:2. Sin is FORGIVEN. So, Grace applies to all people of all time of all places in all circumstances...simply, ALL. IF Grace applies to all, then it applies to ALL sinners, ALL sin, ALL evil done by humans, ALL disobedience, ALL broken laws of God, ALL anything that opposes God due to our hostile hearts against the God of Love. ALL !!!!!!!!!

The Christians of whom I wrote above in their smug self-righteousness of spiritual satisfaction within themselves due to their EFFORTS to be 'good' Christians simply can not believe that all those other lawbreakers, evil people, non church going heathen could possibly be covered by God's Grace and if one were to tell them that all these perverts were just as covered as they are then their immediate response would be," If that is Grace and it covers THEM, then I 'hate' Grace. Their response would likely be, " Then how in the "hell" would evil men ever be put into our favorite place of damnation and torture, HELL FIRE ? Something has to be done with all those 'bad' people!" Oh, I can hear them now.

Above, I did not finish the quote of John 3:17. "For God did not send His Son into the world to CONDEMN the world, but to save it."
Those who want Grace for themselves and not for the Most Sinful of the world miss completely the whole purpose of Grace in the first place. For in reality, We ALL are the MOST SINFUL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. If you haven't lately, go into your house and take a long look at the person in the mirror and realize that the love of God and His Grace covers all the people in the world who look like your kind...the human kind. Humanity. God's children. The ones Jesus died for and has made all the provisions for them to live with the Father forever. I ask you the same question Jesus asked Martha in John 11, " Do you believe?" She did !!! Do you?

MORE ON 'HELL'---TILL YOU GET IT !!!

Hell is a subject I write on often. Why? Because it seems that this one stumbling block is the biggest "love affair" most Christians have going concerning the afterlife of Damned souls. Well, Damn it, I am going to continue to write until we get the point that the "hell" most have been 'conditioned' to believe in simply DOES NOT EXIST. Woah, don't quit reading just yet. Let me explain.

Any student of Greek Mythology, a study of where all things came from and from what god they descended, will readily recognize the similarities of Ancient Greek fables and modern Western Theological Christian thinking. Remember, there is a Devil who wants all of us to believe a lie. The lie. Any lie. A lie. Lie.

So, let me just ask you a question? Have you EVER looked into the subject of Hell on your own? Where did you come to believe in a punishing and torturing hell? Mommy or Daddy or old country preacher? Just where?

Well, let'S look at a few things for you to look into. What about the NAME, Hell? Where did it originate? OK, let's answer.

The ancient Greeks had a belief in an underworld of the individuals who lived evil lives here on earth and 'inherited' upon death called the Netherworld. The world of the dead. From which there was NO escape. It was ruled over by --get this--by a WOMAN GOD-- and her name was hel. Not hell. Just hel.

Well, enter Plato the Great Greek thinker and philosopher. Brilliant man. He takes the concept in 400 years B.C. and embellishes it and calls the afterlife here in this torture and suffering, HELL. He gives it departments, purgatory, etc. Cool, huh?

So far so good. Well, in the 5th Century A.D., St. Augustine a devout student of Plato reasoned that if we insert this teaching of an ever burning hell into the churches afterlife doctrine then it would keep the good saints of the church in even better line and so he did. ( This had never been taught in the church for the first four hundred years of the church not by ANY of the early church leaders including JESUS, John, Polycarp, Irenaeus, Athenasius, and others.)

Now, parables such as Lazarus and the Rich Man had to be reinterpreted in light of this new spurious teaching to make hell fit with the new interpretation of suffering and torture.

Get the picture? It Ain't so.

That is why we write these blogs. You can know the truth. I DON'T WANT ANY MONEY.

But you need the truth to set you free and appreciate what Jesus has done to you and for you and through you.

TERMS UNFAMILIAR BEGOMING FAMILIAR

Since Religion, Theology, Philosophy and Cosmology can not be totally disconnected here are some helpful descriptions of various words one will encounter in the overall study of Philosophy.

Philosophy throws around such big sounding words that many, if not most, people become disinterested immediately when hearing these. However, when we look at the basic words and concepts of philosophy in their simplicity they are disarmed as to their ostentation. Here is a brief summary of words one will often hear when philosophy is discussed. Knowing these will allow us to better understand what is being studied.

THEOGONY-- The study of the origin of the ancient Greek Gods ( Roman Gods, etc.

THEOLOGY--The study of God as to beginnings, nature, existence of, etc.

PHILOSOPHY--"Gk" Lover of wisdom". Study of how one should live; Ethics.

ONTOLOGY-- The study of reality and nature of being or existence.

METAPHYSICS--"Gk" After or above physical reality." Study above physical reality; Study of the essential nature.

EPISTEMOLOGY-Genuine knowledge relating to truth and belief.

LOGIC--Correct principles of reasoning.

TRUTH--A combination of belief and proof.

COSMOS--The Universe

COSMOLOGY--The study of the existence of the universe and all in it in relationship.

While there are other terms that relate to the study of these disciplines mentioned here these are a basic starting point for any to begin a study of Who, What, When, Why, and How!

All of these areas can be accessed on the Internet for further explanations. So, happy searching friends and have fun. I did.

WHAT "HELL" DO YOU BELIEVE IN ???

I believe in hell. The question is what hell am I speaking of? What hell, if any, do you believe in? You might be interested to know where the Western Christian religion got its concept of a 'torturing, fiery, burning, suffering, anguishing, punishing' hell from. You see, I believe in hell--but NOT the one you probably are thinking of.

The world's first recognized religion, Zoroastrianism, 6000 years ago had the concept of do good and go to a good place after death, and if your evil deeds outweighed your good ones then you would go to a suffering place upon death. Sound familiar?

The ancient Greeks had the concept of a place called 'the Netherworld' which would be the place one would go to upon death if one's evil outweighed their good in life. In the 4th Century B.C. the ancient philosopher, Plato, put a name on the place one would go to to suffer because of an evil life--Plato called this place "HELL", a name he took from the Greek Goddess, 'Hel', the ruler of the underworld in Greek Philosophy. He gave it department level names, purgatory, etc. Plato invented this concept of hell.

The Jewish religion of the Old Covenant had NO concept of a place bad or disobedient people went to upon death, and only good people would rise in a future resurrection.

For almost five (5) hundred years the early Christian Church never preached a concept of Plato's hell. Then in the 5th Century A.D. Augustine of Hippo who was a great fan of Plato introduced Plato's hell into the Catholic Church thinking that the added fear factor would keep followers in line for fear of going to "hell". The concept stuck and stayed in the Church in the West up until today.

Scripture had to be reinterpreted to be consistent with this philosophy of Plato. Lazarus and the Rich Man now had to fit a fiery hell and torture. Lakes of fire had to fit as well as other verses.

But, as I said at first, I do BELIEVE in Hell. The Bible's hell. Simply one who lives in his or her own way of thinking and doing and bringing misery and suffering on oneself apart from knowing WHO they are in Jesus and living accordingly IS IN HELL. One who refuses to accept and believe who they are in Jesus and experience the abundant life Jesus brought STAYS in hell--the misery, suffering, perishing, weeping and gnashing of teeth, outer darkness, and angst that choice brings. And this can last forever if one so chooses. HEll !

DON'T BELIEVE ME, PLEASE. Do your own study. Look up and study Hell and its origins in Western Christian thinking. Then study God's Unconditional Love for all of His children and learn how Jesus made the Adoption of all of humanity a reality for all through His life, death, resurrection and ascension to the Father. DON'T BELIEVE ME. Do your own study. I did.

WHY NO DO'S AND DON'TS IN THE NEW COVENANT?

DON'T THINK !!! Most people don't when it comes to looking at the New Covenant and the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant was an aggregation of 613 specific laws to govern and rule a nation== the children of Israel. It Worked!! Somewhat. Israel never could have been accused of keeping the law in its purpose and entirety. But , God is merciful and He loved Israel and delivered them anyway. So the Old Covenant of dos and dont's, obey and keep and observe was really a "religion " of control. A religion of performance. Keep and do this and I will bless you, God said. Don't keep and don't do these things and curses will befall you.( Deut.28 and Lev.26). All religions of the world since Adam have had this formulae. But.........With Jesus came a new and different covenant . Not like the first one AT ALL.!!!!!!

The New Covenant is based on the Spirit. There are NO laws to be expressly kept. None that are articulated as to "You must do this or that". No 'thou shalt do this or thou shalt not do that. No keep this or keep that. There are no proscriptions or requirements under the New Covenant. NONE. Check out your New Testament. NONE.

The motivating factor under the New Covenant is our being led and guided by the Holy Spirit. It leads, Guides, inspires, and directs toward the truth that is in Jesus.

There simply are NO rules, regulations, statutes, laws, requirements, dictates, or any thing else required of Christians in this New Covenant period of time to be done by anyone. We simply worship in Spirit and in Truth believing WHO we are in Jesus.

Why are there no great lengths of verbiage of Jesus or Paul in their writings to point out to all of us 'REQUIREMENTS' for all of us to measure up to in order to receive the blessings of the New Covenant? Reason: THERE ARE NONE. The New Covenant is NOT LIKE the OLD. Different entirely. Simply No Laws. Can you see that?

The New Covenant is a Gift of God to Humanity in Jesus. It declares that Jesus loved us before we were ever born. Before the foundation or creation of the world. Eph. 1:3-14. We are God's Children and Adopted from before creation. Included in the very Life of God. Made so by Jesus' life, death, resurrection, and Ascension carrying all of us to the Father's right hand. Eph. 2:6. Wow.

Now. One MUST believe this in order for him or her to 'experience' all of these wonderful blessings Jesus has to offer in His Life forever.

Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief. Please.

"GOD DAMN THEM TO 'HELL'..." or DOES HE???

Sad. Sad. Sad. That is the only word I can use to describe what some people think of a loving Heavenly Father. Our Daddy in Heaven. What imbecilic theological thinking some have. Do you really think God chose some originally to be God Damned to Hell forever and others to be saved in His Son, Jesus Christ???? Well, some churches' theology teaches that very thing. That thinking comes from our dear friend of philosophy, Plato, from the 4th Century B.C. Why haven't we been told these things before? I can not answer that. But, now is the time to "tell the truth".

Number ONE. There is NO such thing as as ever burning, torturing and punishing "hell fire" for anyone. God NEVER intended that to be the case. He did intend to have a human family live with Him forever in His Triune existence. Jesus came for that very purpose to connect humanity to the Triune God to make this eternal life for everyone a reality.

In Ephesians 1:3-14, we see God's ORIGINAL purpose in creating man in the first place. He WANTS, He loves us , He likes us, and He wants to live forever with us in our HUMANITY.

Plato's "hell" was never preached in the early Christian church for the first 500 years of the church! St. Augustine put that philosophy into to Christian Church in the 5th Century A.D. to help "keep people " on the straight and narrow. To keep them obedient. No sex. No adultery. No drinking too much. No nothing when it came to sin. Did it work? Of course not. And Christians have lived under guilt, shame and the lack of assurance of salvation in Jesus ever since.

God chose ALL of us humans in Jesus Christ before the foundation of the world to live with Him forever and to be Holy In Jesus by His declaration. ( Eph. 1:3-14).

All humans are the "ELECT" of God. We were chosen and elected to be His children before the cosmos was ever created. (Eph.1:3-14---again.)

Some , however, may simply choose NOT to believe this truth. And, they will continue in suffering and perishing until they come around and accept and believe what Jesus did to them, for them , in them and through them. When they do, they will begin to experience the Abundant life Jesus brought now and forever. Jn.10:10.

God never did nor ever will "damn" anyone to eternal suffering. Lakes of fire, wandering in darkness , weeping and gnashing of teeth are METAPHORS describing those who refuse to believe WHO they are in the life of God made possible by the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Self condemnation. Self damnation. Self responsibility is and will be the order of the day for them unless and until they change their minds in repentance. ( Gk.'Metanoia'---'change one's mind'). Hopefully they will.

The Good News is STILL the Good News. For ALL.

"YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH" ...or CAN YOU ?

In the 1992 movie, A FEW GOOD MEN, Col.Nathan Jessup makes the statement to the young lieutenant , Tom Cruze's character, "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH"! This statement is so true for so many who profess Christianity believing the false Dualism, Deism, and separation philosophy Western Christian Theology teaches.
Furthermore, Plato's invention of an ever burning, torturing, punishing, "hell fire" also permeates the GOOD NEWS taught from most pulpits in Christendom today. I could write this blog and NOT tell you about the truth of Plato's Hell Fire, Dante's Inferno, and St. Augustine's adoption of these falsities into the Catholic Church in the 5th century. I could just point you to the historical writings of church historians and the Internet and you could find out for yourself. But, maybe then again, " YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH" , as Col Jessup said.

Well, shoot, I'll just tell you a few truths and you can see if you can handle them or not and be advised there are many others as well.

There is no ever burning and torturing "hell fire" of torment !!!
Lazarus and the rich man is NOT about Gehenna fire at all.
The Book of Revalation is about Jesus Christ and is totally symbolic.
Linear time line prophetic dispensationalism is totally FALSE.
God chose you and adopted you in Christ before the foundation of the world. (Eph.1).
Man is not and can NOT be separated from God....Ever !!!
All humanity live and move and have their being (life/existence) in Christ.(Acts 17).
Jesus UNDID what Adam did to humanity.
The entire Cosmos is reconciled and saved in Jesus Christ. ( Col 1)
You will live with God forever. Catch...You must believe it to experience it.

Had enough????? Just remember, ostriches bury their heads in the sand !!!

YOU BELONG TO GOD....NOW AND FOREVER.!!!

The devil's lie from the very beginning is that you are not worthy, not good enough, can't become good enough, aren't ever going to make the grade, you are separated from God and you have to do everything in your power to get to God and make Him like you and save you. "You are NOT", is his battle cry.

Satan's very religions from the very beginning have said if you are bad, evil, don't measure up, sinful, or otherwise unfit,then you will not gain the afterlife of happiness and joy. All based on YOU and what YOU do or don't do. Basically every religion the world has ever known has had this basic foundational premise from Zoroastrianism forward.

This Dualism points directly to man and HIS efforts to gain the "happy hunting ground' or afterlife of bliss. But these lies will not get man there from here.
Man is temporal and physical. Man dies and that is it. Unless there is a great purpose and plan of God in place from before the foundation of the world. ( Eph.1:3-14). And that plan involving the very Son of God, Jesus Christ, IS in place.

The Great Triune God NEVER intended for the salvation process and involvement of His creation into His life to be a challenge. Not a possibility. Not a contest. Not a game. He intended it to be a FACT. A Declaration of fact of what it is that He has done from the very beginning. Like the old WWII poster, "He Wants You !" And He does and has from before the foundation of the world. We are His baby. We are His children. We are His project. We are his pottery. We are His workmanship. We are HIS.

God loves us and wants with ALL HIS HEART to live with all of us FOREVER. And in Jesus has made this not only a possibility but a reality. Jesus did it all. Jesus paid it all. This good news is really , "GOOD NEWS" , for everyone.

Greek philosophy says if you don't measure up, you go to "hell". Damnable. Damnable. Damnable philosophy. Fear Religion. Raise your ugly head , AGAIN. AGAIN. AGAIN.

The truth is REFRESHING. It is pure. It is Assuring. And Alluring. It is God's love expressed in His plan and our involvement IN His life forever. Can you see that?

Take your pick. Greek philosophy which says you may just burn forever, or God's simple truth that He loves you and has saved you and Adopded you and Included you into His life forever. ( Eph. 1:3-14). Believe it !!!

ARE ALL SAVED....NOW ?

In Luke 19:10, Jesus came to seek and to save what was lost! I submit He did. ALL humans were lost in the first Adam's sin. Death passed on to all humanity through Adam. ( I Cor.15:22 ). Was Jesus somehow selective in His saving mission? OR, was Jesus the payment or propitiation for the sins not only of Christians, but of the WHOLE world? Everyone? (See: I John 2:2; John 3:16-17; John 19:30).

So, we might ask, "If someone is not saved now, when does he/she become or get saved?" Would one in this position be "potentially" saved in Jesus depending on what decisions THEY make? Do they negate Jesus' salvation for them by their lack of acceptance of Christ and their unbelief? Do we humans determine how Jesus' salvation for us works? And, if this is the case, would this not be an example of the "tail wagging the dog"?

I think scripture is abundantly clear that ALL are and have been saved in Jesus Christ and not only saved but ADOPTED and INCLUDED in the Triune God's life forever.(Ephesians 1:3-14). This all having been done for and to man before man was ever born. Therefore, the salvation of all humanity is in place and is a fact for all. Man can not make it happen or make it UN-happen. Man can not make it not so for it IS so for all.

Man can hiss, spit, spew, cuss, argue, resist, deny, reject, not accept and not believe it is so for himself, but it will not go away. It is here to stay. It is the Great Triune God's declaration that He loves man and desires to live forever with man in His life.

Man does not determine the spiritual dynamics of how the Triune God exercises His loving divine Grace. However, man in his distinction and free choice does determine IF he will believe WHO he is in Jesus. Man can choose 'abundant life' in Jesus or 'continued suffering and misery' in his non belief. One we call "Heaven", the other we call "Hell".

The only thing for man to do when presented with this Truth of all Truths is to
decide whether or not to believe it subjectively.

"Lord, I believe, help my unbelief."

HOW ABOUT THIS BIG ......BANG???

FORGET whatever you have ever heard or thought of as the BIG BANG.!!! I want to share with you a bang which was ever so much bigger than whatever the original was as to make it almost unnoticed.

When the Son of Man, the incarnate Son of God, came to this earth to unite and Adopt and include mankind into the very life of Almighty God--The Great Triune God--cosmic shaking events occurred in His Mission.

When HE, Jesus, was born in Bethlehem the whole chorus of Angels of the universe sang for Joy at the birth of the Son of God being born of Mary. I suspect that when this same Jesus was crucified and resurrected on that early Sunday morning that there were fireworks we can't even imagine going off in the universe at the completion of what He said he came to do. (Luke 19:10; John 19:30---It is finished , He said.)

I submit that when this Jesus walked the "red carpet" to His Father in Heaven to be received and become glorified at His Father's right hand that there were explosions going off in the Cosmos that pale into insignificance the original sound of Creation.

At this event, the plan of God is secured in Jesus. It is assured for every human who ever lived or will ever live on this earth. How big is that??? How big of an explosion of angelic song and praise is that.???

You get the picture. What ever the original sound of the creation was, the celebration of the Son of God, the Son of Man accomplishing His mission to Adopt and connect mankind to the Great Triune God was truly a celebration of such great magnitude that it overshadowed the original sounds by its great magnitude.

Let's cease arguing about the original creation of How God did it and focus on the MOST important fact for all of us and that is Jesus Christ loves all of us and has Adopted and Included all of us into the life of the Great Triune God --- forever.

HEBREWS 9:27.... WHAT IS JUDGEMENT HERE?

Hebrews 9:27 is a very misunderstood verse in scripture. Most read it as saying that when man dies he will go to the court hearing in Heaven and be judged and sentenced as if this were some kind of legal system of divine justice. But the verse says after death that the JUDGEMENT will occur for many, if not most. Note, not JUDGING. So what does this word judgement mean?

Judgement here is translated from the Greek word, 'krisis', which means 'opportunity for decision'or, decision time, among other meanings. Most who have ever lived will find out at this opportune time just WHO they are in Jesus. And, that Jesus had saved them through his life, death, resurrection and ascension. They will find out then that they were chosen by the Triune God to be Adopted and included in the life of God IN Jesus from the foundation of the world and before. ( Ephesians 1:3-14). They will find out that God always wanted them, liked them and loved them and wanted to live forever with them.

As they face this 'Krisis' , they will realise that they have one of two choices to make. 1. They can refuse to believe what Jesus did to and for them and continue on in a state of 'perishing' and suffering through unbelief, OR, 2. They can accept and believe what Jesus did for them and to them and live with and in Triune God with pleasures forever more at His right hand.( Ps.16:11). The first choice, we call 'hell'. And, the second choice is choosing to live in the Abundant Life Jesus brought. We call this Heaven. God wants everyone to choose LIFE and REPENTANCE or this change of mind. ( II Peter 3:9). That is WHY He made us in the first place.

God's eternal purpose all along has been for mankind to live and be with and in Him forever. He wants all people to come to see this truth and see Jesus as to how Jesus made it happen for everyone. This repentance ( Gr. Metanoia) is a change of mind and how we view ourselves IN Jesus and acceptance and belief of this truth.

JESUS' SACRIFICE REACHES BACK TO CREATION

. There is a MOST profound statement made in Revelation 13:8, and that statement is that Jesus was slain from before the foundation of the world. Before the creation of the world, this earth, Adam, you and me. But why would God consider Jesus slain before the foundation of the world or the creation of the physical earth and humanity? Well...
We must consider what the Triune God's purpose was to create man in the first place. God simply wanted to live with humanity in His life forever forward. When Jesus was considered slain from before the foundation or creation of the world, this simply meant that the sacrifice for sin, evil, and all of humanity's short comings which would unfold in the history of man would be taken care of , forgiven, cleansed, and removed in Jesus Christ. Jesus' sacrifice in 31/33 AD, or so, reached back to all beginnings , including Adams, and Adams sins, and ours, and in the shed blood of Christ removed, cleansed, healed and forgave all sins man ever would commit.

What happened in Adam and his and Eve's sins passed on to all of their descendants. We have all occurred the death penalty in our father Adam. ( I Cor.15:22). But in Jesus by being slain EVEN BEFORE ADAM SINNED, Adam and all of his children /descendants are and have been made ALIVE (Eternally) in Jesus.(I Cor.15:22) Jesus just simply TRUMPS all and everything Adam did. Adam--bad. Jesus--Good.

The Triune God's plan is to have all humans live in His life forever. Jesus simply makes it happen for everyone. YOU included.

May the Pagan Philosophy of the Greeks, and especially that of Plato, Platinus, and others from the 400 BC be damned. God's love is bigger than "burning someone in a fire forever" because they won't believe in him. He believes in us. And that is what counts. Jesus makes up for all of our sins and shortcomings. He forgives. Yes, you and me.

That forgiveness reaches all the way back to the foundation of the world. You have always been the child God always loved and wanted to live forever WITH. ( Ephesians 1:3-14)

How good is that?

CAVE DWELLING DARKNESS

Hard as it is to believe there are people in the world, known as 'Cave dwellers' who live in the depths and darkness of caves, some who never see the light of day...living in total darkness. Some, if not most, don't even realize that there is a real world of light and beauty outside of the cave that is their life. And, oddly enough, they would not even believe that that world exists outside of the cave. They live in total DARKNESS.

Religious darkness is just as abysmal. Those living in the false understandings of bad theology suffer from not knowing the freeing truth of Jesus Christ and His love for them and all others. They feel, often, separated from God, cut off, not loved, not liked, unsaved, lost, ever seeking to 'find' God in order to accept Him into their life and connect with Him. They are ever seeking to find a way to appease and or please God enough to make Him love and like them so that they can somehow get into His good graces and attain eternal life and miss the eternal torments of hell fire. " And this is the GOOD NEWS??????" I don't think so.

Jesus is the light of the world. All of it. John 8:12. He brings light to those living in the darkened caves of their religious minds. He is the light that shines in the darkness of bad religion. Bad theology. Bad church. He is the way the truth and the life. John 14:6.

Jesus says that God is love. That the great Triune God loves all of us and wants to live with all of us forever. That He has forgiven us all of our sins. That He has adopted us all into His life in Jesus. Eph.1:3-14. That He has included us into His very life. John 14:20. That He has always loved and wanted us individually and personally as His sons and daughters in His life forever. AND, has made it happen in Jesus. How good is that???????

Cave dwelling religionists can't see this life and light. It makes no sense to them. They are forever trying to get to a place that has no road to take them there. There is only one road. One way. One street. One highway. One door. Jesus.

Let's cut to the chase. God says I love you. I have made arrangements to have you live with Me forever. It is a done deal. Now deal with it.

Can you believe God loves you this much? Can you believe God is this big?

May God allow all of us to come out of the caves we are bound up in and see the light.

COME TO 'PAPA'

But he did not go to church!!! Those words described by grandfather who died when I was only four years old. My grandmother was a dear Christian woman who was in attendance every time the Methodist church doors were open. Papa, my grandfather, owned a country wholesale grocery store in a small town in Mississippi. Before the depression of '29 and the stock market crash he would regularly give groceries to needy families on "credit" never asking or receiving payment for the goods. I remember in the evenings when he came home from the store we would ride on the running boards of his old Olds up the steep drive to the carport, then we would go in and play with what seemed to be to be thousands of silver dollars as we built 'castles' on the living room floor and he would roll around with us and play. Then often when it was dark we would go out back and shoot fire crackers under tin cans and blow them up sky high and laugh and have such a wonderful time with my non church going Papa. He smoked good cigars, drank good liqueur and was known to be the best husband and grandfather anyone could ask for. He was a delightful man, humble, faithful, and fun. He and my grandmother raised a wonderful daughter--my mom. As I look back on his life, he died when I was only four years old, I see the light of Jesus and the love of Jesus written all over the life of that man. I know now that he was adopted from before the foundation of the world in Jesus ( Eph.1:3-14) and included into the life of the great Triune God, as we all are, and that is the reason for the joy, love, patience, and goodness he exemplified in his short life of 54 years. I so much look forward to reconnecting with him one day in the heavenly realm. I know no church could have done for him what Jesus did. I thank God for the truth that is in Jesus and that he is not lost or being tortured some place, but he is with his loving Father in Heaven now and for eternity. Praise God. Hang on Papa, I will see you soon. I love you.

"NEW AGE" IS OLD AGE BULL CACA

.WHAT'S NEW ABOUT NEW AGE PHILOSOPHY??? Modern pundits would have you to believe that believing in new age thought is something 'new' when in fact it is not new at all, it only now is being called by new and different names.

Mankind has ALWAYS sought to explain life, creation and existence in terms of relativity and conceptions devoid of any respect to and for a Creator God. Existential metaphysical evolutionary concepts of explanation leaving a Creator God out of the picture have been around for thousands of years. Different names have defined these ideas forever. Atheism, gnosticism, pantheism, and the like are not new.

There is nothing new about reincarnation, past lives, contact with past life individuals, astrological predictions for ones present life based on the movement of the planets and stars and whether Saturn's Moons are sitting on the axis of Paraguay!

There is no end to the speculations conjured up by seers, soothsayers, and Gypsies in plying their trade. The amazing thing is that many educated people actually buy into this Bull Shi_t ( Shirt) as if it were the Truth to end all Truths.

When one understands the real Gospel of Jesus Christ one realizes that he or she was chosen before the foundation of the COSMOS to be adopted and included into the very life of the Triune God to live forever with Him--all made possible by the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. ( Ephesians 1:3-14). There simply is NO room for any falderall of reincarnaton and new age Bull Shi_t ( Shirt) to be considered.

You and all other humans are and have been the childeren God always loved and wanted to be with Him in His life forever. That is the Gospel. Jesus Christ made it happen for evryone. You are included in that wonderful truth and fact. How good is that?

New Age 'stuff' will come and go, but none of it will ever take the place of the Truth of all Truths who is Jesus Christ.

BLUE CHEESE AND HELL FIRE

The moon is NOT made out of 'blue cheese'! But, if one were told this long enough from an early age, they would believe it. So it is with the concept of an ever burning, fiery, torturing, suffering, damnable 'hell fire' for recalcitrant "unsaved" and "lost" sinners. Does that sound bad, or what?

Did you know that for the first nearly 500 years of the early New Testament Christian Church that concept was NOT preached? Why not? Well, because the early church leaders knew better. They knew the truth of the Good News. The truth of Jesus' Adopting of all humanity into His life and the Father's and the Holy Spirit's life.( See, Irenaus, Athanasius, and others) They knew that the concept of a "punishing" hell was an invention of the Greek mind, especially that of Plato. They knew that the kind of love the Father had for his children would not allow that kind of retribution against His children who simply did not know or did not believe their position in Jesus.

In the 5th century A.D. along comes a tremendously influential individual by the name of Augustine of Hippo in the Catholic Church who was the "BLUE CHEESE" man of all time. He especially liked Plato and other Greek philosophers. He liked the concept of "hell" so much that he introduced it into the church as a true doctrine in order, (in his own words) " to keep church goers in line in the straight and narrow."

Fear. Fear worked so well that it remained in the church until this day in the promotion of a torturing hell as doctrine. The problem came in when certain scriptures had to now be interpreted to be consistent with that 'hot' topic. Lazarus and the Rich Man, Worms that die not, smoke ascending up forever, lakes of fire, and other verses now had to be reinterpreted in order to support Plato's Hell.
And they were. Blue Cheese reigned supreme now. Truth had been overcome by a fable.
But the truth shall set one free. And that Truth of all Truths is that God is love,
Jesus lived and died to connect us all to the Triune God and He has redeemed, reconciled, saved, and seated all of humanity with the Father--Eph.2:6.

Even blue cheese will stink if it is left out in the open long enough to spoil.

QUESTIONS-WITH NO ANSWERS- FOR BIG BANGERS

BANG! BANG! BANG! My last blog addressed the topic of the "Big Bang" theory of the origin of the cosmos. In this one I just want to ask a few questions which need answers that are generated from fair questions. The scientists who accept the Big Bang theory ( and of course not all do) are stumped when these and other questions arise over the dynamics of the Big Bang theory. So let's ask a few. Here goes.

1. Where did the SPACE come from in which the Big Bang occurred?

2. Why didn't the explosion of the tiny "mass" which caused the Big Bang happen before it did?

3. After the "bang", where did all the LAWS come from in which the cosmos operates?
( Fission, Fusion, Gravity, Centrifugal force, Centripetal force, Inertia, Thermodynamics, nuclear reactions, etc. )

4. What caused the vast differences in the cosmos of Black holes, white holes, Galaxy webs, gravity, bright stars, dim stars , etc. ?

5. Why do all of the elements in the Periodic chart relate to each other NUMERICALLY?

6. Why is the speed of light constant at 186,000 mps.?

7. Where did all of the known elements in the cosmos come from? Were they all inside the tiny atom like mass that exploded causing the "big bang"? If not, what caused them all to "form" after the explosion?

8. How did the big bang explosion fill the universe with such precision and order, even being a giant clock accurate to the nano second?

9. Why is there "dark matter" throughout the universe?

10. Is there another explanation for the existence of the universe?

11. Where did life on planet earth come from?

12. Why is the life/eco system so balanced?

13. Why is the micro and the macro universe so mathematically organized. And opposite of each other?

You get the point. When you study the Big Bang Theory in depth, you find that there are a lot of questions which simply go unaddressed. " We do not know." " We can not say." " No one knows." We ASSUME. These are the answers one gets.

One can argue, " In the beginning, God CREATED....IT ALL."

I'll go with that one.

THE BIG BANG...DOES IT MAKE SENSE?

BANG! THE BIG BANG. The heavens declare the glory of God. Not some random disconnected explosion of a tiny particle 12.9 billion years ago somewhere out in space. ( The fartherst star has been measured at 12.9 billion LIGHT years from earth.)

The Milky Way Galaxy in which we live in our Solar System on Earth is some 100 Thousand light years across. ( Or, 6 trillion miles X 100,000 miles !!!). We think this amazing. Yet in space there are giant galaxies, Space Blobs, Galaxy webs--like three dimensional spider webs--which are truly amazing. Astrophysicists have accounted for over 100 Billion galaxies at present with more being discovered every few weeks. Some are over 40 million light years across compared to our 100,000 of the Milky Way. The Milky Way is one of the smallest known.

There are approximately 10 times as many stars in the known universe as there are grains of sand on the earth. Some Giant Red stars would contain millions of our solar System's Sun. Some stars are million/s of times brighter than our own sun.

Wind speeds on some planets in outer space reach upwards of 6000 miles per hour. The mass of some stars, black holes, planets is so great that a penny would weigh TONS on those planets. Black holes are so dense that their gravity pulls light within them not allowing it to escape the black hole.

Some Galaxies are cannibals in their nature and when approaching another galaxy due to Gravity they simply engulf the weaker galaxy and ingest it into itself becoming now much larger.

Now astrophysicists speak of "parallel" Universes like a loaf of bread, with this COSMOS being incredulously HUMONGOUS. Astrophysisists speak in terms of 12 to 14 dimensions and 'string' dimensions. Not just the 4 we live in. ( I think I just lost us)

This entire existing universe in is perfect harmony, balance and design with the proper amounts of gravity and expansion forces to keep it expanding, not collapsing due to the gravitational pull of all of the masses in it. And all the while it remains in the same configuration which is a GIANT CLOCK which is perfect in its time keeping. How cool is that??? And only earth has been recognized to have a balanced ecological system to support life.

The dynamic effects of the universe are amazing in themselves. Heat, cold, radiation, nuclear reactions, fission, fusion, mass, light, elements, speeds of movement, and other things we can come up with are off the charts when we look at them from 'cosmic proportions'.

When David wrote in Psalm 19:1, " The heavens declare the Glory of God", he only had reference to the heavens in our own Milky Way Galaxy. How much more do they declare the Glory of God when considered on the scale of the COSMOS.

To all BIG BANGERS, I propose to all of you that all of this CREATION did not come from a small mass the size of an atom. Besides, where did the 'empty universe' or space come from for it to explode into. Remember, Space and time are created elements also. DEAL WITH IT.

"Only a fool has said in his heart, there is no God."

GREEK MYTHOLOGY AND JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is no figment of Greek Mythology nor is He a creation from the mind of Plato. BUT, the way we often view Jesus and God the Father, we might as well have gotten our theology from Greek Philosophy!

Greek Mythology dates back to nearly the Bronze Age! Various kings, rulers and people of importance in the ancient Greek, Egyptian, Phoenician, and Asian world, over time, became deified as gods and goddesses and immortalized in epic poems such and the Illiad and the Odyssey by Homer. We are talking 1000 years before Jesus.

The Greek netherworld, or place of the dead, along with Plato's invention of the concept of "hell" in the 4th Century B.C. have become the mainstay of Christian thought in the West and prevail to this day teaching an ever burning, torturing fire for the unrepentant. God the Father is distant, disconnected, aloof, "holy" and "hell bent" on sending those who do not fall down and worship Him to these flames of torture. Where do you think this kind of thinking comes from? Answer: The Greeks, their mythology, Plato, Platonism, and other Greek philosophers who continued these teachings and myths in their day. Then when St. Augustine of Hippo came along in the 5th Century A.D., who was an avid student of Plato's philosophy--including "hell" and fire and torture forever--he injected this unloving fear tactic into the Christian Church to keep converts "in line" and walking the straight and narrow.

What we have today is a man made theology from scripture and Greek philosophy which is anything but Good News. God is not portrayed and giving Unconditional Love to all of His children, Adopting all children before the foundation of the world ( Eph.1), and fulfilling His one and only plan for humanity completed in Jesus Christ.

Religion is a contest. Christianity is a contest. If YOU win, you get saved. But it all boils down to you and your accepting Jesus into your life. But what Jesus did for all of us and TO all of us happened before we were ever born!

Jesus is not some capricious God like so many of the Greek gods of Greek mythology. He is not narcissistic needing the adulation of His subjects to sustain His worth.
Jesus is no figment of Greek Mythology.

He is God. He is man. He is the Word Who from 'the beginning' was with the Father and the Holy Spirit as very God. He is love. He is Savior. He is our elder Brother. He is GOOD. And, He is GOOD ALL the time.

He loves us all with a love that is beyond description. You have always been the child He always wanted in His family to be with Him FOREVER. There is NO contest. There is NO possibility for failure. We are saved and secure in Jesus--Forever!

Jesus lives IN us and we IN Him. ( John 14:20). We are connected and included INSIDE of the Triune Life of God NOW and FOREVER. This is what Trinitarian and Adoption Theology is all about. And, it has nothing to do with Greek Mythology and Greek Philosophy whatsoever.

BETWEEN THE TWO BOOKENDS THEOLOGY

BOOKEND THEOLOGY!!! The Plan of God is not really all that difficult to understand if we view it from the perspective of bookends on a shelf. Large marble or quartz or statue bookends on either side of a row of books. The bookends hold everything in between them on the shelf. God's plan is much like this. Let's see.

First bookend. In Gen.1:26-27, The Great Triune God said, "Let's make man in our image." Let's make man in our existence. Let's make man in ourselves. Let's live with man forever. Paul further states in Ephesians 1:3-14, that humans were adopted in Christ before the world was ever created. Man was to be perfect in Jesus originally. We have the declaration of perfection for humanity originally.

Now let's look at the bookend at the other end of the book shelf. This bookend says " it is done". "All things are reconciled in Christ." Col.1:19-20. All things are reconciled in Christ. All things are redeemed in Christ. All things are saved in Christ. Can you see the two book ends here? The first and the last of God's plan. Sort of the Alpha and the Omega of everything.

Now we have two bookends of man's history for the age of man. From the first Adam all the way to the last human who will ever live on this earth. All reconciled, redeemed, adopted, included in the life of God, all saved. No exceptions. All done in between the two bookends.

Everything that happens in the age of man, between the two bookends, if you will, happens in the fallenness of Adam. All the sin, hurt, misery, suffering, angst, unassurance, and death happens between the two bookends. The good news is that what happens between the two bookends has NO bearing on the original plan and purpose of God and Jesus' MAKING IT HAPPEN for God.

God is just simply bigger than all the fallen history of man and He has dealt with all the sin and problems of the age of man in Jesus. Jesus simply has saved the COSMOS. Man and you included. NOTHING that happens between the two bookends has any bearing on what God has done in Jesus. What Jesus came to do , He did. He sought and saved the lost--the creation, man, and everything else. He finished His work.

Nothing in the age of man between the two bookends has any lasting or eternal impact on what God purposed to do and DID in Jesus. Can you see that. Our God is THAT BIG.

Jesus is the two bookends. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The first and the last. Everything happens in and on His watch. He knows, He is in charge ultimately and He has made it all good in Himself for everyone. The question for all is, "Will you believe it ?"

Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.

THE FATHER'S HEART--JESUS' HEART--SAME HEART!

The HEART of The Father is the SAME as the HEART of Jesus!!!

Let's make all this God stuff real simple. God is Love and He loves you! He loves you so much, in fact, that He came to this earth incarnate to take you into His life and live with you forever. In His eyes, objectively speaking, it was all a done deal before the foundation of the world. ( Can God really do that???).

Let's understand. God IS Love. He doesn't have some love to share or give, He IS Love. He isn't Love sometimes and something else at other times. HE IS LOVE. The Cross demonstrates that He even loves YOU more than He loves Himself!! He shares that love now with humanity. Love originates with God. He is so Good that He allows us to share in His love and thereby lavish love on our children, friends, mates, and even pets!

The Father's Love is NO different than that of Jesus Christ. The heart of one is the same as the heart of the other including the Holy Spirit. The Father is not angry with humans!!! Jesus did NOT come to take the anger of the Father in our stead. (Augustine and Johnathan Edwards would not like that last statement.) The Father is NOT angry with us. He Loves His Children. It is impossible for The Father do do any thing other than love His Children. Let me say it this way.

My right hand is my right hand. I also have a left hand. But, it is IMPOSSIBLE for my right hand to be my left hand! It is totally my right hand. So it is with God. God is love 24/7 and 365 to put it in linear terms. He is 100% Love. He is incapable of demonstrating anything other than love to us or for us.

While there is much suffering in the world that Jesus promised us all, The Great Triune God has taken care of all of our lives and blessed us in Jesus with all heavenly blessings He has to bless us with. Our future is absolutely secure in His life, in His existence, in His being, FOREVER.

As we allow more and more of the Holy Spirit to illuminate our understanding of Who we are in Jesus and the life He gives, the more the plan of God becomes clearer for all humans who ever lived and will live in God's creation.

In God's Love, Power and future it is all a DONE DEAL. God Loves YOU. And, there is not anything you can do about it.

KINGDOM OF GOD LIVING IN YOU-YOU LIVING IN IT.

YOU LIVE IN THE KINDGOM OF GOD NOW. HOW IS THAT PRESENTLY?

. In Luke 17:20-21, Jesus makes a remarkable statement. He says, "The Kingdom of God is WITHIN you." Earlier He had said in John 14:20, "...He was in the Father, you are in me and He is in us." The relationship that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit had had for all eternity includes man now.!!! It is a matter of man realizing it. This is WHY Jesus came to the earth in the first place. He came to create this union between and with the Triune God and mankind--humanity.

With this in mind, Jesus did NOT say that the Kingdom of God was 'Available' to humans. He did not say that the Kingdom was a possibility. Quoting Mk. 1:14-15, Jesus said the Kingdom of God is "at hand", Repent and BELIEVE the Gospel. Repent, "Metanoia", in the Greek, meaning change your mind as to Who you are inside of the life of Jesus. The Kingdom is now and here. You can experience it. The FULLNESS OF THE KINGDOM COMES WHEN JESUS RETURNS. Then He says, "Believe the Gospel." It is all about changing our mind and believing!!

The Kingdom of God has always been prepared for humans since before the foundation of the world. Originally. ( Mt.25:31-34). The Great Triune God has always wanted mankind with Him and Inside of His "Perichoretic" life. He wants to share His divine nature eternally with all of us. See(II Peter 1:4). And make no mistake, Jesus made it happen for everyone.

Now a few really difficult theological concepts to wrap our minds around. "Beginners, you may now leave the room."

When God proclaims that He is IN us through Jesus and by the Spirit, He is not just saying He is near. He is not saying that He is in us to just ensure our resurrection. He is not saying that He is in us IF we want Him there and to do our bidding like some "voodoo amulet". No. The Triune God offers and proclaims nothing less than our complete "enmeshing" inside of His life. God offers the same " Perichoretic" dance He shares mutually as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with all humanity. We are IN THE DANCE. We are inside of the life of God. We are inside of His Divine Nature through Jesus. Can you see that? Is it too good to be true? Have you EVER heard that before? You should have. God is a Dad and He wants us IN and INSIDE and WITH and dancing with Him FOREVER. The really Good News is that He has some really "cool" stuff to share with us in PLEASURE forevermore inside of His life. ( Ps.16:11). Thank you Jesus.

We say God is Good. Brothers and Sisters, we can not even begin to imagine what it will be like to live inside of the life of God forever. but, It will be GOOD.

PROSTITUTES, PORNO QUEENS AND JESUS

In Luke chapter 7, Jesus illustrates a remarkable example of forgiveness for a woman of the 21st Century, for there are many girls of the world who are participants in the worldly activity of SEX AND PORN. For these women today, and even "young" girls, where is Jesus in their life as most of them don't even know Jesus is in their life?

Our first response may be to say that Jesus is nowhere near their life due to their life's practice and involvement in pornography. Shameful. Sinful. Ungodly. Evil. But, at second glance we must admit that all people live and move and have their being in Jesus. ( Acts 17:28). When Paul spoke those words in Athens in Acts 17, he was talking to many pagan philosophers and Athenians who were involved in all kinds of perverse sexual practices including fornication, adultery, pedophilia, and the sex preference of the day--homosexuality. And, " they lived, moved, and had their being in Jesus.

In the fallen state of humanity from father Adam all humans are dead in sin. But, in Jesus Christ all have been made alive. ( I Cor. 15:22). All are the children of our Father in heaven. God's love does not pick and choose who to love. He loves all.
Jesus came to connect man to God in relationship forever. He also came and saved what was lost.

Jesus lives in and gives life to ALL people, prostitutes and porno queens in the
21st Century as well.(John 14:20). Do they know it? Most do not. But they will. In Jesus' time when He decides to reveal Himself to them. When He does a marvelous transformation will take place. They will see WHO they really are in the life of Jesus and begin to live out WHO they are IN Jesus. They will know they are loved by the Father and wanted by the Father to share in His divine nature forever.

Until then, these queens of the night will just have to continue living out their life not knowing that Jesus lives in them too just like He does everyone else who ever lived or will live.

"I told you that you probably would not like this." Sorry!

Letter from God to His children written under inspiration.

Dear children,

I wanted to write this letter to all of you from Adam on to the very last one of you who will be born in the age of man. As a Father I want all of you to know how much I love each and everyone of you the same as I do my only begotten son, Jesus. I have created all of you to be with me for the rest of eternity and I am going to make it a fantastic pleasure filled existence for all of you. You will just have to wait to see how much more wonderful it will be compared to your earthly existence.

I had things all planned out and sin entered the world and all of you died in the death of Adam because of it. BUT, the Good News is that everything has been made right in my son, Jesus. He bought and paid for everyone of you by His blood.

He has created the 'bridge' or the communion between my heavenly, eternal existence and your humanity and we will be together forever. I promise. It is going to be really good, you will see. I am bringing you into GLORY with me!

I have made all the arrangements to share my Divine nature with all of you and I have assigned Jesus to 'Make it So".

You will have much trial, tribulation, suffering, misery, and death in your descent from Adam but I have more good news for you, I am giving you LIFE , real LIFE, Abundant life and ETERNAL LIFE in Jesus. In fact, I sent the Holy Spirit to dwell fully in all of you on Pentecost mentioned in Acts 2.

I have left no stone unturned. I want this and I AM GOING TO DO IT. Nothing or no one can stop my love and plan for all of you.

So take heart. Live your human existence to the full. Live. Love, Laugh, enjoy being who I made you to be. But remember, your real eternal identity is IN Jesus and I look forward to experiencing an everlasting relationship with each and everyone of you.

I want you and I love you. If there is any thing I have mentioned here you don't understand, just ask me. I am available 24/7. One thing I do ask of you, and that is please BELIEVE ME.

STARVING CHILDREN AND JESUS Part 2

WHERE IS JESUS IN ALL THIS "HELL" ON EARTH?

Recent discussion has centered around Starving children in third world countries and how does Triune care for or does He care at all for these children. The suffering is extreme and it begs the question where is God?

At the expense of seeming cavalier about this question let's look at life and death from God's perspective.

Triune God gives life to humans in order for them to live through out eternity with Him in the joys of relationship. Jesus bridged the gap between God and humanity making this a reality for ALL humans. And all humans have objectively been taken to the Father's right hand with and IN Jesus. From Adam to the last human who will ever be born. ALL.

Triune God does not look at life and death the way we humans do. Death is not the end, but a beginning in His eyes. The beginning of an eternity of relationship inside His life. Human existence is only a few days to seventy or eighty or so years. The only thing required for resurrection is DEATH. So, we all die sooner or later. Then the transition.

Triune has taken care of ALL humanity in Jesus. Look at several scriptural examples of untimely death. God was right there in these circumstances as He is now in all circumstances.

In ancient Israel God had the Israelites kill and destroy the inhabitants of pagan peoples when Israel invaded their areas. God allowed Satan to bring havoc and death to all of Job's children. Herod had all of the male children up to two years old slaughtered after the birth of Jesus. Horrible examples. So, where was Triune God in all of this? What was the lot of these children who suffered and were murdered?
And what about the tens of thousands of Christian martyrs along with children who have been killed over the centuries? Where is God?

In Jesus Christ God has taken care of ALL of His children from Adam forward. I Corinthians 15:22, In Jesus Christ ALL of His children are made alive. All have objectively been taken to the Father's right hand in Jesus. ( Eph.2:6).

In each human's life God has been there. What degree of comfort He has given each dying infant, each infant's mother or martyr we can not say. Only, God is love and He cares for each of His children equally.

He has given life inside of His life to all humans in Jesus through and by the Spirit. He has a wonderful future planned for everyone, dying children in third world countries as well. Pleasures forevermore at His side. He has taken care of ALL of His Kids. You included. Third world starving children included and Adopted too. ( Eph. 1:3-15.).

Remember human earthly life is only for a short period of time. Human earthly existence is only for a short period of time with the purpose to allow all humans to be Adopted into the very life of God and thereby life joyfully forever with Triune God--Father,Son and Holy Spirit--The ONE Great God.

So, God says He is the God of the living and the dead. He has all power over both. The power to give life and the power to resurrect. The power to complete His plan for all of Humanity. He just WINS. And He WINS for EVERYONE. Starving children in third world countries as well.

STARVING CHILDREN AND JESUS Part 1

WHERE IS GOD IN ALL OF THIS 'HELL' ON EARTH?

Just look around the world with all of its suffering, misery, starvation of children, disease, dying and death. Not a pretty picture. Some would even say and do say that "if" there were a God He would not allow all of this suffering to continue. As if that were some test of God's existence!

This world is being largely controled presently by the god of this world, Satan and his fallen angels. ( II Cor. 4:4 ; Eph.2:2; Eph.6).

But, while this age of man continues God's Son has entered this world as saviour and deliverer. Subjectively we see all the suffering, but Objectively God sees the end result and the final outcome of the redemption and salvation of humanity in Jesus Christ. Jesus finished what He came to do. ( John 19:30). But, it is not all "DONE" yet. (Rev.21:6). Ultimately the end result of God's Master Plan which includes ALL of humanity will be "DONE" and COMPLETED with an eternal existence wherein only Righteousness dwells. That day is coming, to be sure!

Satan has been defeated. The Salvation of all mankind has been accomplished in Jesus Christ. That is the Good News. ( You are included too!).

But, where is Jesus now in all of the suffering in the world? Jesus is and continues to be the Saviour of humanity. He is humanity's advocate at the Fathers's right hand. He is the the Comforter in the Spirit which walks along side all people now.

Where there is suffering in dying children in some third world country Jesus in there inside those children gently holding them in His arms of comfort in mind and spirit waiting to carry them to the Father's right hand. ( Eph.2:6). Can you imagine what their lot would be if Jesus did not care or if He were not individually involved in their precious little lives? Sparrows falling and the number of hair on their heads applies too!

We tend to put so much impact on this physical here and now life that often we overlook the REAL life of life IN the Triune God He has created for all humanity.
Make no mistake, the suffering described here is real. But God loves all humans equally and has provided "something" better in life with Him forever.

Where there is sin in a person's life, and there are many, Jesus enters in and assumes the sin and takes it upon Himself. He becomes the sin for us.( II Cor. 5:19-21). He suffers for us. He lifts us up to the Father in the Spirit--FOREVER. Jesus makes it happen.
He does so for the most "saintly" Christian, and for the lowliest child in a third world country or in a major country for that matter.

How Jesus loves us all individually may be subject for debate, but all children in suffering miserable hellish circumstances on this earth can say with all other children, " Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so!"

For over 400 years the early Christian Church leaders taught UNIVERSAL REDEMPTION for all humanity. Also they taught UNIVERSAL RECONCILIATION for all. As well, SALVATION of ALL of humanity was taught in, by, for, and through Jesus Christ.

The concepts of "Hell" and "Hell FIRE TORMENT" were invented by the Greek philosopher, Plato, in the 4th Cen. B.C. and were imported into the church in the 5th Cen. A.D. by St. Augustine of Hippo, an avid student and admirer of Plato's philosophy.

The Triune God had originally "Adopted" all of humanity into His life from before the foundation of the world ( Ephesians 1:3-14) and made it a reality in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.( Ephesians 2:6)

THEREFORE, YOU and I are the children God ALWAYS wanted to be with Him forever. God LOVES YOU AND LIKES YOU. God Accepts us. He doesn't always 'approve' of all we do, but He ACCEPTS us and makes all things RIGHT in JESUS.( II Cor.5:19-21)

Jesus did it ALL for us. Jesus paid it all. Jesus connects us to the Triune God and places us into His life by and through His life. Jesus really is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE for all humanity.

What this means for you and me is that we are SECURE in our life and our future in the life of God. In our eternity. In our future.

How can you identify the TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST?

Paul talks about a 'false gospel' in Galatians 1:6-7. False gospels have been around and with us for a long time. Teachings which say that we are 'separated' from God, or that we must 'accept' Jesus into our life, or that teach that some are 'elected' to be saved and others are 'elected' to be condemned and Damned to Hell forever, or that teach we 'must' DO something in order to be saved are FALSE GOSPELS !!!

SHINE JESUS SHINE---OUT FROM ME !!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope this year we let the LIGHT OF JESUS SHINE in our lives and out from us to others. One key element to understand is that IF Jesus is to Shine out from us HE MUST BE IN US !!! And HE is. Let me cite a few scriptures to demonstrate absolutely that Jesus is in All of us and HE WANTS EVEYONE TO KNOW.

Let's note five specific scriptures which show us all that Jesus is in fact in all of us.

John 1:4, " In Him ( Jesus ) was LIFE. There can be no life apart from Jesus. He is the source of our life. We exist in,by,through, and for Him. ( Col.1:14-20).

John 14:20, Jesus said, " In that day you will realize that I am in the Father, the Father is in me and I am IN YOU."

Acts 17:28, Paul talking to the pagan philosophers at Athens said to them, " You live and move and have your BEING in Jesus."

Galatians 2:20, Paul says that " I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ LIVES in me."

Colossians 1:26-27, Paul says that the Mystery of all time is , " Christ IN you the hope of glory."

and last, Colossians 3:4, Paul says "Christ Who is YOUR LIFE"...

This season of the year pictures Emmanuel, or God With Us. But not only God with us like some cosmic visitor from outer space, but God With Us, God Within Us, and We in God and in His life as well. EMMANUEL !!!

So, we see that Jesus is IN us. We don't "feel" Him in us. We don't "see" Him in us. We see our humanity and our self and our weaknesses in us and all the things that make us children of Adam. But Jesus living in us changes our life. It changes our future. It is our Hope. It is the ultimate REALITY. And it is Eternally SURE.

As we begin 2009 let's dedicate ourselves to allowing Jesus to SHINE out of us as we go about our daily activities. Let His JOY flow out of us to inspire others. Let Jesus TOUCH others by your hand and gentle caring concern. Let Jesus IN you help you focus on Positive and beautiful and wonderful things as Paul wrote in Philippians 4:8. Let Jesus Shine OUT. Yeild to His life living inside of you.

Let Jesus Shine in '09. Yes, let Jesus Shine out of you bringing light into a dark world. Yes. Yes. Yes. SHINE JESUS SHINE.

CHRISTMAS--MORE THAN GOD 'WITH' US !!!

Christmas is the time of year to rediscover the meaning of the one and only "Emmanuel" of God, Jesus Christ. Emmanuel means 'God With Us'. But it means much more than that. We shall see. The Christmas story tells us that the WORD stepped out of eternity and became one of us, a fully human being. This WORD had always been with God and WAS God. ( John 1:1-4). John tells us that He was the originator of Creation, of Life, of everything.(As does Paul. Colossians 1:15-17).

The name "Emmanuel" actually means , God with us. But Jesus' coming in the flesh did much more than just dwell with humans. He became one of us, became one WITH us and became One IN us. IN US !!! And us IN Him. He makes this clear in John 14:20 when He says that we will know that He is in the Father, the Father is in Him and He is in us. In John 17:20-26, He phrases it this way, " that He and the Father will be in us and that He himself will be IN us."

Paul says it this way in Colossians3:4, " that when Christ who IS your life appears." The physical life we all have now in the fallenness of Adam is only temporary. Jesus enters into all of us and gives us His life and that life is ETERNAL. ( I Corinthians 15:22).

Jesus is the SOURCE of life. If He is not present inside of a living organism to give life, that organism is not alive but dead. He is life. John 1:4. ( Note: All things are sustained or upheld by Jesus Christ.)

Christmas is much more than shepherds, wise men, camels, and Santa. It is about EMMANUEL. God with us. God one of us. God IN us. AND, We IN Him. And He is there within us permanently with no possibility of being separated from us ever. Romans 8.

Finally, Paul calls all of this the greatest secret of the ages. The greatest mystery of all of humanity. He calls it a GLORIOUS truth. It is in Colossians 1:26-27. "Christ IN you the hope of Glory." AND, AND, AND, it applies to EVERYONE. EVERYONE!!!
See verse 28 of Colossians 1. God simply loves all of His creation and has saved and redeemed and reconciled it in Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:20. The KEY for us is will be believe?

Christmas is for the whole world because Emmanuel is FOR the whole world. All who ever lived.( John 3:16-17; I John 2:2.)

Maybe now you can more clearly than ever before, " BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD". (John 1:29)

DAMN RIGHT ! HELL YES ! REALLY ?

Minds can be so made up over a subject that it is almost impossible to get through to them with anything that changes one's perspective. Take the concept of Hell. "I believe in an ever burning torturing fire to punish wickedly bad people who may not ever have heard the name Jesus Christ FOREVER. Damnit!" My grandmother and my mother taught me this which they learned in Sunday school at their local protestant church and I am not going to change their professional theology when it comes to Hell.

I read Lazarus and the Rich man and about worms that die not and Lakes of fire and brimstone and I KNOW WHEREOF I SPEAK. Don't confuse me with the facts of history, language, or the pagan concepts of Plato and other pagan philosophers who INVENTED the concept of a torturing firey Hell, because I am not listening. Damnit!

Have you ever talked to someone in this closed frame of mind? Some just will not let go of the Hell they love so much. Rather than go into the details of Hell and where our Western Theological approach to it came from I will just refer you to a couple of Theological explanations I will send to you if you ask. ( I don't want your money or anything else!)

Ask for "Lazarus and the Rich Man" paper. Amazing. It has NOTHING to do with "fire".

Ask for the "Package" on Hell.

These will open your eyes as nothing else would.

God is Love and He loves you. You are the child of His He always wanted!!! He took care of you in the Life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Believe it.

INCLUDED ? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

WE ARE ADOPTED AND INCLUDED. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT ?

The true Gospel message of Jesus Christ is that of Adoption into the very life of the Father through Jesus by the Spirit. In conjunction with this understanding we use the term " included " -- that we are Adopted by the Father and Included. We even hear the wording that, "We are Included." What does included actually mean?

Jesus has indeed included us in His life. He IS our life.( John 14:20; 17:20-26;Colossians 3:1-4). Does this mean that now we have been added to His life and given eternal life since He has the power to grant eternal life to us? In other words is it a going forward thing for us?

Paul says in Galatians 2:20 that he/we are crucified with Christ. And tht we are buried with Christ.( Romans 6:1-4). In Colossians 3:1 Paul says that we have been raised with Christ. Ephesians 2:6 tells us that we ascended with Jesus to the Father's right hand and are seated there with Jesus. Other verses tell us that Jesus became sin for us,(Heb.10:10; II Cor.5:21). Jesus "tasted" death for us (Hebrews 2:9), and that we are resurrected in Him in New Birth, (I Peter 1:3).

There is an intimate interaction between humanity, the Cosmos, and Jesus. So intimate in fact that Jesus literally enters into our life and gives us life, but we all also Enter into His very life by His choice to PLACE OR INCLUDE US IN HIS LIFE and thereby we are involved personally in everything that happened to Jesus. So we say thta what happened to Jesus happened to us. The word we use to describe this theological principle is INCLUSION. It means that we all are included IN the events of of His earthly life and also we are included in His eternal life as well. We now are included in the life that Jesus shares with the Father and the Spirit by our Adoption and our Inclusion in Jesus' life. He IS our life now and forever. When Jesus said in John 14:6, " I am the way, the Truth, and the life," He was making a profound statement few understood at the time. They would at a later time. Jn.14:20.
Whe John 10:10 refers to Jesus coming to bring life and that we might have it more abundantly He is referring to His life that we are included in.

God's purpose from the "very beginning" was to adopt us as His children and to include us in the life of Jesus who became Incarnate for that very purpose. ( see
Ephesians 1:3-14).

We humans are not just "included" generically in the plan of God somewhere in the lostness of eternity somehow. NO, we are Included IN the life of Jesus, " the only begotten son of God." The relationship Jesus has with the Father and the Spirit is the relationship we share with the Father and the Spirit through Jesus. Jesus shares it with us. We EXIST IN Jesus. He is our life. It is what Triune God desired from the very beginning--to share His divine nature and life with us through Adoption and Inclusion all made possible through Jesus.

"HELL"... NOT WHAT YOU THOUGHT !!!

What the hell are you afraid of? Why are we often times unwilling to admit God loves us and wants to be with us forever ( Eph.1:3-14), AND, that the "hell" of Plato's imagination does not exist. Jonathan Edward's "hell" does NOT exist! Why are we so reluctant to turn our concept of HEll loose? Why are we AFRAID to look into the subject of Hell and where the concept of it came from? Why are we satisfied to remain ignorant of this theological fable?

The Internet is filled with some good information on the origins of Hell, i.e, Plato, Dante, Augustine, and others. It is also filled with some horrible information about eternal torture, suffering, and misery.

I don't have time or room here to expand this subject but I do have some really great articles I will send you via E:Mail for FREE if you ask for them. Also, let me encurage you to look into the history of the concept of Hell for yourself. Many sources are available. What are you afraid of? Don't be. God loves you and has secured a place in His life with you forever.

Life is short, you owe it to yourself to do a little study to find out the Peace you can have inside of God's great love for you.

WHAT IS THE REAL GOSPEL OF CHRIST ?

What is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ? Many would say that God is way off somewhere separated from His creation and distant from all of humanity. They would say that the Gospel is that we are lost souls but that Jesus came and paid the price for all of us and that IF we would only repent and accept Jesus into our life followed by living a holy and righteous life then we would then be saved and "go to heaven" when we die.

Does that sound familiar? Is that somewhat close to the "gospel" you have heard? Well it may sound plausible but it is NOT the Gospel!

The Gospel, or Good News, is that the Triune God decided to create humans to live physical lives, be adopted into His life, and live with Him forever.( Ephesians 1:3-14). The Triune God determined this plan and also determined that NOTHING was going to deter it. When Adam sinned, Jesus had to take care of the problem of sin, in effect, undoing what Adam did to all of humanity. Adam brought the death penalty upon everyone. ( I Corinthians 15:22.)BUT, in Jesus all are made alive. Same verse.

What all was implicated in the fall of Adam is now implicated in the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ--the second Adam. No one stands outside of the love and loving embrace of the Triune God, for, in Christ, ALL things are reconciled to the Father.( Colossians 1:19-21).

Jesus accepts us into His life. We belong to the Father and have from the foundation of the world. All sin is taken care of in Jesus.(Ephesians 1:3-14; Revelation 13:8; I John 2:2; John 3:16-17).

The Gospel or Good News is simply that the Triune God loves us and has adopted us and included us into His life through Jesus by the Spirit. We did not have anything to do with the process. We did not make it happen and we can not make it un-happen. We do, however, have the opportunity to BELIEVE it. God is FOR us. He loves us. He wants us. We are His children He always wanted. He even LIKES us!

The Triune God has all the power to make this a reality for everyone. All we have to do is to realize Who Jesus is and what He has done for all of us and accept it and believe it.

ARE YOU REALLY SET FREE ???

SET FREE??? Are you really set free? Knowing the Truth in Jesus Christ WILL set you free. But what does that mean? Do you feel any anxiousness about your salvation? Do you question the absolute assurance of your eternal life with God? Do you think that you can do ANYTHING to undo what Christ has already done to and for you?
Is there ever that "question" in your mind about your eternal future? If you answered yes to ANY of these questions then YOU ARE NOT SET FREE !!!

Knowing what Jesus Christ has done to all of humanity in Adopting man into the family of God and making it all happen in His life, death, resurrection and ascension will SET ANYONE FREE. Knowing this means knowing Jesus has done it all FOR US. Our part in it all is to believe. Even this belief is a gift of God and actually Jesus believes for us! He is our Faith for us. He shares it with us!

Can we accept it. Can we believe it. Can we believe and pass from condemnation to Life. Knowing that Jesus has done it all for us means we are free at last. We are "set free". Now we can rest.

When we sin, and we do, we KNOW Jesus has that taken care of. His blood covers all sin. When we realize how evil we are deep down, Jesus has that taken care of. We are set free. No Worries, mate, as the Aussies say. You are set free. Believe it.

WHY IS EVIL IN THE WORLD???

Question? Since all of humanity has been reconciled and saved and adopted and included in the life of the Triune God, WHY IS THERE SO MUCH EVIL IN THE WORLD?

Most of humanity does not know or realize that they are included in the life of God nor do they know Who they are in Jesus. Their only motivation is fleshly from self directed objectives and desires. Couple this with the fallen nature all humans have inherited from the "first Adam" and you have a classic recipe for all sorts of evil from that deceitful heart in all humans.

Then, as if this were not enough, throw into the mix the evil influences of Satan who is the "god of this world" ( II Corinthians 4:4) and also the "prince of the power of the air" ( Ephesians 2:2) and you have the leader of a powerful evil combine mentioned in Ephesians 6. This group of spirits continually war against humanity and influence all kinds of evil practices.

In the end, all evil will be destroyed, even death, and only life, love, relationships, beauty, and glory in the presence of God will endure forever.

Just how God is going to do all of this is in His sights now. But, in Jesus it is as good as done.

May God hasten that day.

THE "GOSPEL" IS...NOT...GOOD NEWS !!!

Look at the Gospel message today from most professing Christians and you will find the message anything but GOOD. Theology which teaches you CAN be saved "if" you accept Jesus as you personal saviour but one which teaches you remain "unsaved" if you don't accept Jesus thereby dooming you to ETERNAL TORTURE in some kind of fire is not really Good News for EVERYONE.

The Gospel is not conditional on our part depending on what we do to make it a reality. This is why so many teach that those who NEVER heard the message of Jesus and did not accept Him in this life time are CONDEMNED to Hell. Hardly the heart of a loving God for all of His children!

But the TRUE Gospel IS GOOD NEWS for EVERYONE. All of Adams children were accepted by Jesus and given new life in Him from the foundation of the world. ( Eph.1:3-14). God's purpose has ALWAYS been to create man and place man in God's family and life. Jesus made it happen for everyone. ( I Cor.15:22). All. Everyone.

For those who believe it and accept this Good News they will live in the Abundant life Jesus promises. FOREVER. The GOOD NEWS really is Good News for ALL.

Lest you think that this is UNIVERSAL SALVATION we are speaking of here, we are NOT.

Sadly, some apparently will not accept and believe this Good News and therefore will not experience the joy of eternal life. They will experience something quite different. But, the OPPORTUNITY is there for everyone to realize.

Salvation in Jesus is an ANNOUNCEMENT, not a challenge or contest for humans. We can believe it or we can choose NOT to believe it. Whether we believe it or not does not make it a reality. It IS a reality for Everyone. The question is, " Will everyone believe it sooner or later?"

Salvation is NOT the Reward of the Saved!

Salvation is not the Reward of the Saved!!! Salvation is not conditional or a contest for humans. Universal Salvation is NOT true. Calvanism which says some are "elected" to be saved and others "elected" to be condemned is NOT true. Armenianism which says that those once saved can recant and become "unsaved" is not true. If Salvation is the Reward of the Saved, then "something" would have to be done to "win" the Reward. Salvation is an announcement that we ARE saved in Jesus.

God's ORIGINAL purpose was to create man and have man in God's life forever. This plan was accomplished in Jesus Christ. It ALL depended and depends on Jesus Christ, not humans. The ONLY thing any human can do is to believe it. It is True whether or not one believes it or not. We don't make it true. IT IS TRUE. The ONLY thing we CAN do is to believe it and thereby EXPERIENCE it now and forever.

Salvation and our participation in the life of God is an ANNOUNCEMENT. It is not conditional or a contest to see if one will make it. All humanity HAS made it already in Jesus Christ. The only question remaining for anyone is, " Will the individual BELIEVE it?" And, that is the ONLY requirement Jesus placed on Humans--Belief in Him.

INDEPENDENCE DAY AND FREEDOM IN JESUS

This is July 4th celebration. It is also Independence Day. It Celebrates the freedom this country was afforded in coming out from under the often oppressive rule of the English throne. Freedom in any form of government is a precious commodity.

For Christians freedom is only found in the Truth that is in Jesus Christ. Understanding that the Triune God LOVES us and has done EVERYTHING in Jesus necessary to take us into His Triune life forever is truely what Jesus meant in John 8:31-32, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you FREE." We are there! Sin has been conquered in Jesus and there is NO condemnation of any kind for us humans who are all God's children.

Knowing Jesus unshackels us from oppressive, confining, chocking, legalism found in 'religion' in any number of Christian churches and other religions as well. Do this. Don't do that. Keep this. Keep that. Do it good enough and you can remain in the good graces of Jesus and be saved.

Knowing that we all have been saved, redeemed, reconciled, adopted and included in the life of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit since 'before the foundation of the world' , totally forgiven, liked, and loved as well, is truly FREEDOM.(Ephesians 1:3-14).

Salvation is assured. It is secure. We are loved and The Father's desire is for all of us to come to know this truth of Who we are in Jesus and live forever with Him in the glories of the Heavenly realms.

Adopted and Included in God's Life !

JESUS' SALVATION DOES NOT EXCLUDE ANY

The Theological ignorance of many Christians is appalling. The self-centered arrogance is equally disturbing. A Christian friend of mine told me just the other day that he had a problem with the idea that there would be those in the resurrection at the last day who were not already Christians. The sad thing is that he believes this. He further stated that he did not believe that anyone could find out about Jesus and His salvation "after" death.

With this perspective in mind can you begin to see how many human beings who have lived on this earth would be excluded from eternal life in the glories of heaven. This man's idea was that all of these "lost" souls would just go to Hell and burn and suffer forever. Where is the God of Love in that picture?

If this sounds like bad theology to you--and it IS--let's now take a look at some scriptures which demonstrate that these individuals who never heard the name of Jesus were SAVED by Jesus and it will take the other side of the grave for them to find out about it!

Before you think that this is "Post Mortem" theology which says people have a chance at salvation after death, think again. It IS saying that all people were redeemed and reconciled to the Father by Jesus Christ. Many have died just not knowing it!!! The only way for them to find out about it is AFTER death. Then they will know they were loved and saved by Jesus and then have the opportunity to accept it and believe it.

They will find out that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world thus His blood reached to all humans. ( Rev.13:8). They will find out that Jesus' blood covered their sins and was the propitiation for--the payment for--ALL peoples sins. They will realize that they too were crucified with Christ, raised with Christ, and ascended to the Father's right hand in Christ along side all humans who ever lived. ( Ehpesians 2:6). Then to experience this, they must accept it and believe it. By not believing it only misery and suffering would remain for them.

I can not believe that Christians are satisfied with multiple billions of people suffering in a state of Hell forever because they did not find out in this life WHO Jesus Christ was/is.

God's plan for mankind to be with Him forever was architected before the foundation of the world for ALL humanity. ( Ephesians 1:3-14).

Remember "as in Adam all die, so in Jesus Christ ALL will be made alive, EVERYONE in time." ( I Corinthians 15:22-23 ).

MEMORIAL DAY AND THE GOSPEL

Memorial Day. What does Memorial Day have to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Let's see.
Another name for Memorial Day is "Graves Day". This is from the practice of placing decorations on the graves of fallen soldiers from the past.

Jesus resurrects Lazarus to life in John 11, proving to Martha, Mary and others He had the power to resurrect the dead. In Matthew 27, after the resurrection of Jesus the graves in and around Jerusalem were opened and DEAD people rose up out of those graves. Again demonstrating God's power to resurrect the dead and to provide a forshadowing of the resurrection of ALL humanity in Jesus. Jesus had proclaimed in John 11:25, that " I Am the Resurrection and the life."

In Jesus Christ ALL are made alive in His resurrection and ascension to the Father's right hand. Ephesians 2:6. Christ was FIRST. But then EVERY man in his own time will share in Christ's resurrection. There is only one way a person can be resurrected and that is to pass from phyical to spiritual. To be changed. For those who have died regardless of the cause, in this case war, Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. Remember in Adam all Die, but in Jesus Christ ALL are made ALIVE. I Corinthians 15:22. And this through RESURRECTION.

"War is Hell" as General Sherman declared during the March to the Sea as the Civil War came to a close. Mothers and Fathers have lost their sons and daughters. Grandparents as well. Loved ones have been separated through death in war. War is HELL. But the good news in Jesus Christ is that Death has been conquered. All are resurrected in Jesus. He is the Resurrection and the life for EVERYONE.

We honor those who have fallen in the service to our nation. And we are encouraged that the Mothers and Fathers and loved ones separated by those conflicts WILL be reunited with their loved ones in Jesus' Resurrection.

Because of Jesus Christ death is not the end but a beginning. FOREVER.

IN THE IMAGE OF GOD

Genesis 1:26-27 says that God created man in God's image, both male and female. There has been much speculation on this statement over the ages with books being written on the subject.

It has been postulated that what it means to be created in God's image is to have the ability to think, possess creativity, and be human in appearance as Christ was human. Further, to be able to love and be loved. To give and to receive. Also, to have a mind capable of great thinking and concepts of physical, mataphysical, philosophical and theological understandings.

While all of these are God given capabilities which no animals possess they all miss the point of what it means to be created in the image of God.

God speaking in Genesis 1 is not some unknowable, untouchable, cosmic Giant possessing "all everything" only to be revered, bowed down to, exalted, worshipped, and who is unapproachable as if He were some cosmic Budda or Zeus or one similar to these only infinitely greater.

John 1:1 shows God to be Father, Son and Holy Spirit, a Triune God of three persons yet one essence. . The word "with" here relates to relationship as the Triune God is "face to face" one with the other. Not just 'existing' but living in RELATIONSIP with one another in an entwined 'perichoretic' relationship of love, peace, joy happiness, acceptance, appreciation, honor, fun, and the mutually sharing of life together.

This love relationship overflowed to the point that this Great Triune God decided to make children to share this abundance of love with and to share LIFE with in this perechoretic relationship which would take humanity INSIDE God's life and include man in God's life through being 'Adopted' as God's very own children and placed inside this Divine relationship FOREVER. (See Ephesians 1:3-14 and John 14:20; John 17:20-26). And all of this to be done IN, BY, FOR, and THROUGH Jesus Christ. The Divine UNION was to be and WAS completed in Jesus. God in effect established man's destiny before ANYTHING was ever created.

Triune God is Spirit. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are Spirit. For man AND woman to be created in God's image in this Divine relationship demonstrates God's esteem for both sexes equally and His love for all of His children without partiality.

There simply is no other being in God's creation that in any way fits the description of one(s) being created IN God's image. Man and woman only can and do fit this profile.

The rest of the creation including all animals and all of nature and all of the cosmos was created FOR humans to be in charge of. Hebrews 2:5-8 shows that EVERYTHING created is to be under the "feet" --under subjection--to man. That day is coming but it is not here yet. The future world to come is not even going to be put under the authority of angels, but MAN.

This relates to man and woman being created in God's image. The fact that God is sharing His Divine Nature, His Divine LIFE with humanity demonstrates God's confidence in placing ALL things ultimately under man's feet--in subjection to man.

In the image of God is to be IN eternal RELATIONSHIP with Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is to share mutual Trust, love, confidence, and nature. God will have billions of sons and daughters IN His image sharing in His LIFE and in the maintenance and care of the cosmos with ALL things being under their feet.

Great theologians such as Karl Barth, the great Athanasius, T.F. Torrance and others knew this truth and taught it.

Maybe now we can understand a little better another dimension of God's great love for all of us--love that will allow Him to share His very Divine life and eternity with us.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN-- REPENT ?

REPENT !!! Or else! Firey preachers have for centuries cried the repent warning. Flee from the wrath to come! Turn around and sin no more! Do a 180 in your life. Repent to be forgiven.
Sound familiar?

Since no one can remove all the sin out of their life many Christians live in the constant fear that they are not repentant enough, not good enough, haven't overcome enough, and literally live their life in mental BONDAGE to a wrong concept of what repentance really is.

Before we say what repentance is let us say what repentance is NOT. Repentance is NOT denying our humanity, not being sorry for all the individual and specific sins we have committed in our life and continue to commit, not turning our life around and ceasing from all sin and living a spotless life in this flesh. So what then is there to repent of? What is real repentance?

Repentance in scripture is translated from the Greek work, Metanoia, which means to "change one's mind or thinking." Or, " think again."

Repentance involves how we look at God and how He looks at us. Wrongly looking at God we would see a God who us just waiting to 'get' us for sins and not 'repenting' of those sins and therefore holding us over the flames of ( Plato's Hell) hell and burning us forever. Much the way Jonathan Edwards' sermon said in " Sinners in the hands of an ANGRY God". Oooooh, not good!

Rightly looking at God we see a Loving Father who devised an eternal plan for us IN Jesus Christ to place us in His life with Jesus making it SO! Through Jesus we have EVERYTHING needed to "make it happen." ALREADY!

Repentance is NOT looking to see what we can do to make it happen or how MUCH we can do to make it happen BUT, seeing what Jesus has already done to make it happen. Repentance is seeing how much God loves us and is DETERMINED to live forever WITH us. ( As Karl Barth said, " God does not intend to live forever WITHOUT us.")

All humanly devised religions have some sort of works and rewards program for the individual to live up to in order to see the after life in a good state. They are all contests to see if one measures up. Their 'repentance' is changing and doing SOMETHING to make it happen. All based on the individuals success and personal merits and accomplishments.

The TRUTH is different. God's plan is a GIFT to humanity IN Jesus without ANY requirements on man's part. In Jesus it is ALREADY done. It is a DONE deal. It is done because of God's GREAT LOVE for us from before the foundation of the world.

Repentance is coming to see this truth. It is coming to believe it. It is changing our mind from a perception of a god who is anything but love and who loves us ETERNALLY.

All of our sins and shortcomings have been taken care of in Jesus Christ. He is the payment or propitiation for ALL sin for ALL time for ALL humans. Period. We all stand in FORIVENESS in perpetuity. Perpetually. Continually.

Repentance is seeing what God has done. It is taking YOU out of the equation. It is reducing your only response to BELIEVING. This believing then WILL produce the changes in one's life through Jesus that demonstrate and witness to the person's repentance.

By not repenting, by not believing one can only live in continual suffering, pain, angst, misery, and in a state of perishing. And, frankly that theoretically could last forever!

"Repent and believe the Gospel." It really is GOOD NEWS!

HOW BIG IS GOD WHO IS LOVE ?

How big is God? How much does God love all of His children? We say God loves us and the whole world. Most of us can not begin to understand the magnitude of God or the God who is Love. God does not just have love for us or extend His love to us. God's love is much bigger than this. John 3:16, perhaps the most famous verse in all of the Bible declares that God loved the whole world.

I Corinthians 13:8 states that Love NEVER fails.

I John 4:8 tells us not that God HAS love but that God IS LOVE. Throughout eternity God has always existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in LOVE. Love one for the other in the Great Triune God relationship. Everything that God is or does is an extension of His being LOVE.

God's original plan to create human beings and take them INTO His being, within His circle of life was a plan to place man INSIDE God's very being within the Triune relationship God shares with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Through the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ the bridge is crossed creating UNION between man and God. This union takes man into the same relationship Jesus has with the Father by the Spirit. The union takes man INSIDE God's life, inside God's love--permanently and eternally in relationship JUST AS JESUS lives in the eternal relationship with the Father. And, again I Corinthians 13:8 tells us that this LOVE never, NEVER, fails.

All of this salvation, Adoption, and Inclusion into the live of God is by God's DOING. It was planned from BEFORE the creation of the cosmos and this world. Its was mapped out, blue printed, and declared so by God for man backed by the Power of God to make it so IN Jesus.

By God's LOVE sin has been defeated in Jesus. Humanity has been redeemed by God's LOVE in Jesus. Creation has been reconciled to God by God's LOVE through Jesus. All humanity has been given Justification and declared righteous by the Faith OF Jesus Christ and this because of God's GREAT LOVE.

How big is God's Love? Big enough to NEVER FAIL. And, He shares it with us ALL. The question is, " Are we BIG enough to believe it?"

GOD OR TRIUNE GOD. WHICH?

In defining God most people would start with Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. With this starting point God is further described as the Great being who is all powerful, all knowing, omni present, "all everything" and so great and distant, seperated from man, unknowable, non human and nothing like a human, and only to be revered, feared, worshiped, receiving continual praise and adulation. And, man has come up with all kinds of descriptions and inventions attributed to God and gods. Also, a God who rewards for good works and punishes--even forever--bad works and deeds. The sad thing is that many people STOP here at Genesis 1:1 with how they see God.

John 1:1, a scripturally parallel verse to Genesis 1:1, REVEALS a much different kind of God. THE TRIUNE GOD. Note, " In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was WITH God and the WORD was God. Along with the Holy Spirit, the Word--the Son--and the Father were the Eternal Triune God. Always having lived in a loving, harmonious, peaceful, and beautiful RELATIONSHIP existing in a relationship WITH each other, but not only with each other but face to face. Intimate. In agreement. In Love. In appreciation. Without competition. In Joy. In peace. PERFECT UNION AND RELATIONSHIP. Not in need of anything.

This Triune God John reveals is the God who desired to share this LOVE RELATIONSHIP with created sons and daughters--humanity--and purposed a plan from BEFORE CREATION to do just that. ( Ephesians 1:3-14). The Plan was to Adopt and Include humanity into the very life of God THROUGH Jesus Christ. The Adoption was not meant to just give a name to the children, but to include them into the very life and circle of God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus came to "make it happen".

Jesus came to reveal, not some 'Omni-being' way out in the cosmos someplace, but to reveal the FATHER who He had known from all Eternity AND to reveal that the Father was love and desired to share His love with His children FOREVER in RELATIONSHIP. This Jesus makes Plain in His message. He came to reveal the Father and His love and the absolute certainty of its outcome.

When we start to define Who or What is God, we MUST begin with the Perfect relationship that has always existed in the Triune God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then we can understand His love and what He has planned for all of us His children from Before the Foundation of the World.

This is all why the INCARNATION is so important. It reveals how God came to man's life to take man into God's life. The bridge is crossed. The Union is made. Jesus said it best in John 14:6, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE--No one comes to the Father except by me!

Maybe this will give all of us a little better view of our Heavenly Father who loves us dearly. The Heavenly Father Jesus came to reveal. The Heavenly Father who plans to live eternally with His children in Perfect Relationship and Love.

TWO GREAT STUMBLING BLOCKS

Ignorance and vanity are, it seems to me, two of the greatest personal forces mitigating against one coming to understand more of the Love of God, the Grace of God, and the Trinitarian Adoption and Inclusion Gospel message of scripture. The other day I was at my health club and became engaged in a brief discussion with a nice man who happened to have a mainline Protestant denominational background. He wasn't attending church anywhere presently so I thought I would encourage him in the area of God's Love for ALL HUMANITY from before the creation of the world. Of course I could not get too detailed in the discussion since this is a LARGE subject. I did refer to a number of scriptures which pointed out God's Love for all humanity from before the creation of the world, ( Ephesians 1:3-14) and that Jesus died for ALL humanity and that actually He saved EVERYONE and Included all humanity in the life of God. And, that one must come to understand and believe just WHO they are IN Jesus. ( This Trinitarian Theology -- THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST -- is discussed in detail on the sites listed at my church site, www.newlifewcg.org, and is made much more plain.)

I referred to some of the greatest theologians of the last 2000 years who embraced THIS theology. Athanasius, Irenaus, Karl Barth, Tom Torrance, J.B. Torrance, Baxter Kruger, and others.

I was amazed that he held to HIS opinions which pictured God as love on the one hand, but a vicious, vindictive hanging judge on the other just waiting to fry sinners forever in ( Plato's) hell fire. Sad.

His last comment to me was that this 'different' theology which I was sharring with him was "just the OPINION " of all these men and no more correct than what he--untheologically trained as he was--thought!

It is amazing to me how we in defence of our personal thoughts and opinions will put down the greatest TRUTH OF ALL TRUTHS simply because we don't understand it from the old pardigm structures we have always held. " I did not come up with this, so it must NOT BE TRUE", is the thought of the day for many. Sad.

Our vanity and ignorance when admitted to ourself can be the greatest obstacles removed for the Holy Spirit to teach us His message which will set us free at last. " Free at last. Thank God Almighty we shall be free at last." MLK

WHERE THE "HELL" DID IT COME FROM?

I wanted to take this Blog space here to point all of you to the various links on the NEWLIFE web site. www.newlifewcg.org. This time I especially want to direct you to the link for
CHRISTIAN ODYSSEY and the lead article "Sinners in the Arms of a Loving God".

This article by Paul Kroll addresses the concept of "Hell" in our lives and beyond from a realistic
Biblical viewpoint. As you may know, the Western Christian Theological teaching of an ever burning, torturing Hellfire was a concept taken from the Greek Philosopher Plato from the 4th Century B.C. It was introduced into the Christian Church by St. Augustine ( Augustine of Hippo) in the 5th Century A.D. Augustine was an avid reader of Plato. Augustine saw that the FEAR tactic of a torturing Hell would keep individuals in the church walking the " straight and narrow".
Dante further embellished the concept of Hellfire in the 13th Century in the Divine Comedy.

Unfortunately this type of "Hell" and "Hellfifre" pictured God the Father as some type of blood thirsty monster just waiting to fry His children who did not measure up. The Truth of the Gospel is something quite different and is echoed over and over on the various LINKS that are listed on the Newlife web site.

In introducing this first blog let me just say that our loving God, Father, Son, and Spirit, the Triune God, loves you beyound your greatest imaginings. He has made the arrangements for you to be with Him forever in a state words can not desribe.
